It was the day in which they were going to determine which witch or wizard was going to compete in the tournament.

Everyone was very excited to say the least. They know the Weasley twins tried it but failed since they were not above 17 years old yet and it was a very funny scene to watch.

All the students were gathered in the great hall were they could see the goblet of fire that was to determine which students will participate in the tournament. Evelyn was sitting down with Luna but she could still see Harry from there with Ron and Hermione.

The fire started to act on its own, indicating that the first student has been selected. Dumbledore reach his hand to catch the paper and the first name that appeared was "Fleur Delacour for Beauxbatons, congratulations!" Everyone cheered for her and Evelyn could see her smile and hugging who she guessed was her little sister.

It started again and Dumbledore was prepared to receive the next name which was "Viktor Krum for Durmstrang!" People got even crazier with him, being the most famous at Quidditch he has gane some fans.

"Last but not least, from Hogwarts we have... Cedric Diggory!"

Evelyn watch as he was congratulated by his friends from Hufflepuff and she couldn't help but feel nervous now. For the other contestants she didn't really care, but for him, he found a soft spot on her heart since that day he invited her to a date, which was actually today and she just remembered.

"Congratulations to all the participants! Just remember, that now you stand alone-" Before Dumbledore could continue, the goblet of fire started to act weird again, indicating that there was one more participant and everyone was on the edge of their feet. No one was expecting it.

But what Dumbledore said next, absolutely no one was expecting it, because that name sent a piercing feeling through Evelyn's heart "Harry Potter?!" There was a pause and Evelyn couldn't help but want to stand up and prevent Harry from going anywhere. He could not participate in the tournament. His only 14 years old. There's no way Dumbledore is going to let him participate.

"Harry Potter show yourself!" Evelyn could see Harry being pushed by Hermione and she could also see the angry look on Ron's face.

There's no way Harry put his name in that goblet. He couldn't have done it. Was all Evelyn could think as her heart was racing a million times per hour.

Dumbledore looked furious, he was beyond himself as he glared at Harry too.

Everyone was glaring at Harry, even someone yelled "He's not 17 yet!"

At the end, Dumbledore didn't continue with his speech and just told the rest of the teachers to follow him to his office with the rest of the contestants. Harry following behind with a shock expression or maybe more of an empty one on his face.

Evelyn didn't know what to do. All she wanted was to be with Harry and defend him and  argue that he cannot participate, that she simply wouldn't aloud it, but who would listen to her? Probably no one.

Without saying anything to Luna who tried to talk to her, she leaved the great hall and started almost running towards Dumbledore's office before she could stop herself. However, before she make it, Nearly Headless Nick stopped her from going "I wouldn't go in there if I were you."

"Why not? Is Harry okay?" Evelyn asked stressed out.

"Oh he's okay for now, but the professors are hysterical. They have no choice but to let him compete in the tournament."

"But he can't! He's just 14!" Evelyn wanted to burst in there and put some sense into those people. How are they going to just let this happen?

If it's as dangerous as Evelyn thinks it is, there's no way Harry can survive at just 14.
