It's been one month since Harry and Evelyn has talked and it was time for Slughorn's club party. Evelyn wasn't surprised when she heard that Harry went with Luna. Steph had already told her before and it was okay with her. She knew they were friends and it was better that he went with Luna than someone else.
Not that she was jealous. They were not together right now so he could go out with whoever he wanted, but it still hurts a little, to know that it wasn't with her.
"Seriously, how are you so okay with all of this?" Steph asked she and Evelyn we walked down the hallway and saw a lot of the people that had join the club.
"Honestly, I'm just glad it's with Luna that he's going with. I don't think I would've been okay if it was with someone else."
"You're welcome. I thought about that and it would've been too weird for me to go with him, so I just thought Luna would be the best option."
"Although if he would've gone with you it wouldn't matter either. I would be okay with both of you."
Steph smiled at Evelyn as she couldn't help but feel sorry for her friend. She could tell how much it was hurting her being away from Harry, even if she was trying to hide it. She hid it well, but Steph could always tell whenever Eve was lying.
"Hey girls, what are your plans for tonight?" Hermione asked as she looked as though she was running away from someone.
"Oh, we'll be spending it in Eve's room. Probably watch some muggle movie, eat ice cream and gossip." Steph answered. "Also, you look super pretty."
"Why does it look like you're running away from someone?" Eve asked, really curious about how or why she's in that state.
"Oh um-"
"There you are, I knew I couldn't keep you away for long, darling." Eve almost gagged when she saw who Hermione was with. Out of everyone, she had to go with Comrac?
"Uh-"
"Good luck..." Eve whispered in Hermione's ear as she hugged her slightly, feeling sorry for her. It was obvious that something must've happened for her to make that decision. No one in their right minds would go out with Comrac.
Hermione looked like she needed help but they couldn't really do anything to help her. She had to go to that party or the professor would think badly of her.
Eve and Steph kept walking towards the Hufflepuff common room and started looking for some muggle's movies. "I'm glad I can spend this time with you."
"Me too." Steph said smiling at Eve.

Eve suddenly needed to go to the bathroom and paused the movie telling Steph that she would come right away. It was kind of urgent, but since the Hufflepuff bathroom was occupied, she had to go to one outside the common room.
"Great..." She sigh as she went outside and as she was walking, she stopped halfway, hearing something she probably shouldn't be hearing and she saw someone else spying on the conversation.
Her heart stopped beating and as if Harry knew, he turned around and looked at her, his eyes wide and then made a sign to keep quiet.
"Maybe I did hex that Bell girl. Maybe I didn't. What's it to you?" Draco said annoyingly.
"I swore to protect you. I made the Unbreakable Vow." Snape said, making Evelyn frow her eyebrows. She has never heard of the Unbreakable Vow.
"I don't need protection. I was chosen for this. Out of all others. Me. And I won't fail Him." Eve was as confused as she has ever been. And it was obvious Harry was also very confused.
