It was time to go back to Hogwarts and everything was already a mess. Evelyn was regretting letting Harry leave in the train when she knew he was going to try and get to Draco. She has heard what Ron, Hermione and Harry saw in Diagon Alley, when she was left with Steph and Luna looking at the Weasley's products.

She couldn't deny it, it did sound suspiscious. What was Malfoy doing there with his mom in the first place?

But she wouldn't of go all the way into going towards Malfoy and eavesdrop in the train.

"Harry, you're such an idiot." She said as she had a pack of ice and put it on his bruise. "You need to be more careful."

"But this just proves I'm right. He is a Death Eater!" He said as he hissed a bit at the end since obviously it hurts.

"Okay, let's say you're right, what can you do about it?"

He stopped to think for a moment and he knew she was right. He was being stupid and recless about this. He has been so focused on Malfoy that he hasn't even noticed the sadness in his girlfriend's eyes.

"You're right- I'm sorry. What um- what happened?"

This time it was Evelyn's confused eyes looking back at him. "What do you mean?"

"Why are you sad? We're back at Hogwarts, we're safe here. It's our second home, isn't it?"

"It used to be..." She whispered but he heard her.

"It still is-"

"No it's not Harry. Everyone is looking at me like I'm a freak. Everyone thinks I'm this scary witch who could hurt them because I survived the curse. The curse that you survived when you were only a baby. It made you famous, the good kind of famous, everyone repected you, but now, with me, it's different. I'm a teenanger and apparently, the most powerful known in the magic world right now. People are afraid of me."

"But you saved Sirius. You haven't harmed anyone- they shouldn't be scared of you."

"I saved someone who was used to be known as the biggest murderer in our world. People still don't understand that he was innocent, that he is innocent. They think I'm crazy that I saved someone who has killed so many."

"Eve-"

"Let's just drop it, please." She sigh as she was tired of it. She was tired of the whispers in the hallways and it was just the first day. The first night back at Hogwarts and she was tired of it.

Harry knew he has to stop now. There was no way she would see this differently. "I'm sorry." He said, she nodded and kissed him on the cheek.

"It's fine. Let's go to sleep, I'm tired."

He nodded as they stood up and got out of the bathroom. They began to walk towards the Hufflepuff tower, meeting with none other than Cedric.

"Cedric!" Evelyn doesn't know what came to her but now she is realizing just how much she has missed him.

Cedric chuckled as he opened his arms and embraced her. He knows everything that has been happening in her life just like everyone else, but he did see her as a hero, since the first person she has saved was him.

"Hey Eve. Nice to see you." She smiled through the hug, the closest she has felt at home. Him being in the same house as her was something she has always been grateful for. "Hey Harry, nice to see you too."

"You too, I believe you'll take her from here?" He asked, since he still wanted to investigate more about Malfoy's whereabouts.

"Of course." Harry thanked him and kissed Eve on the cheeks. She knew he was up to something, but decided not to question him. She was really tired anyway. "Shall we go?" Cedric asked.

"Yes, I'm very tired." She said and she smiled thankfully at him as they walked towards the door.

Hufflepuff students were gathered in the common room and as soon as the two of them entered the room everyone watch. It felt like dejavu, back when they were dating, back before Evelyn's life became a mess.

"I hope everyone knows that whoever speaks badly of Evelyn, I will make sure to make it my mission to make you as miserable as possible." Cedric spoke, so slow, almost reminding Eve of Snape, making her shiver a bit.

She didn't know Cedric still cared so much for her.

Everyone went back to their own thing and Evelyn has never felt so grateful in her life like she did in that moment.

Cedric went with her up to her room, just to make sure no one else was going to look at her with hateful eyes or even make a bad comment to her.

"Thanks for that... I really appreciate it."

"It's okay, I um I know we have distanced ourselves after what happened but I never stopped caring for you. You saved my life after all." He said and she couldn't help herself but hugged him again.

"Thank you."

"I'm very much glad you're alive... I swear, when I heard that you saved Sirius I just- I thought I had lost you."

She hugged him tighter, knowing he was meaning every single word that left his mouth.

"You're the sweetest person I know Ced and I hope you never lose that special part of you."

"Never." He said smiling back at her. They said goodnight to each oher and finally, after what felt like forever, Eve was able to have some sleep, knowing that someone out there didn't see her as this crazy person, but as a hero.

One week later and it was still the same, everyday felt the same for Evelyn and she couldn't help but feel like she was drowning in her own world. She has been trying to avoid thinking of her parents and if they were alive or not, but the thought came to her mind everyday, not being able to avoid it at all.

When people saw her walking in the hallway, they would worry because she looks like she haven't been able to sleep, she looks as though she was losing life itself in her body.

However, one day when she was walking in the hallway, going a bit late for class, she saw Malfoy, walking rather quickly down the third floor, which was supposed to be prohibited.

She should walk away, she shouldn't get involved in whatever he was up too, but something told her that she had to see.

And so, she started to walk towards him, keeping a safe distance but still managing to know where he was going.

It went on for a while and she was starting to get tired. She should not have come, maybe he was just walking without a real purpose. But that soon came to be wrong, he was indeed doing something.

She saw that he went inside the Room of Requirements, which sent many memories to her mind from last year,  when her and Harry had used it for- well- she blushed just thinking about it.

But what was Malfoy doing in it? Was he seeing someone? Did this had to do anything about love?

She was far from wrong, she wasn't sure what it was for, but she knew it was no good. There was a weird looking cabinet in the middle of the room, and Draco was looking at it with so much fear in his eyes, she wondered why he was doing this in the first place, whatever he was doing, it was obvious he didn't want to.

After what felt like a while, she knew she had to go back. She didn't want Draco to see her but she knew she had to keep following him next time she saw him. That cabinet sent chills down her spine, she knew it was no good.
