"Do you think he would've done it? Draco?" Hermione asked as they were watching the black lake. It was a beautiful view. A sad one at this time, but beautiful.
"No." Harry said. "No, he was lowering his wand. At the end it was Snape. It was always Snape, and I did nothing."
Harry gave Hermione the necklace "It's fake. Open it."
Hermione took out a piece of paper "to the dark lord, I know I will be dead long before you read this but I wanted to let you know it was I who discovered your secret. I've stolen the real horrocrux with the intent to destroy it. I face death in the hope that when you will meet your match you'll be mortal once more. RAB. R A B?"
"I don't know." Harry said. "But whoever they are, they have the real horrocrux. Which means it was all a waste. All of it."
Harry couldn't help but feel that if they never went to that mission, Dumbledore would still be alive and nothing would've been as bad as they are now.
"I'm not coming back Hermione." Harry said after moments of silence. "I've got to finish whatever Dumbledore started. And I don't know where that will lead me. But I'll let you and Ron know where I am when I can."
"I've always admired your courage Harry. But sometimes you can be really thick. You don't really think you can go and find all of these horrocruxes by yourself, do you? You need us Harry."
"I never realized how peaceful this place was." Harry was feeling grateful. He knows Ron and Hermione will always be there for him, no matter what.

It's been six months since they've last been at Howgarts and so much has changed.
In the aftermath of Albus Dumbledore's death, the wizarding world descended into chaos, and Harry felt the weight of grief heavy on his shoulders. Back at Sirius' house, the oppressive silence was almost unbearable. With his seventeenth birthday approaching, he could sense the impending change, but he was also haunted by worry, most notably about Evelyn, his soulmate and bond mate.
One evening, as Harry stared out at the night sky, a familiar presence filled the room. Sirius Black, stepped through the door, concern clear on his face. "Harry," he said, settling beside him. "We need to talk."
"Evelyn," Harry started, his voice thick with emotion. "I can't stop thinking about her. I should be out there trying to rescue her, but I... I can't."
Sirius placed a comforting hand on Harry's shoulder. "I know how much she means to you. But rushing in recklessly could put you both in danger. You have to be smart about this. You don't even know where she is."
"I feel so helpless," Harry admitted, frustration bubbling to the surface. "Dumbledore is gone, and I'm supposed to find the Horcruxes. But all I can think about is her."
"Focus on what you can do," Sirius urged. "You're not alone in this fight. Dumbledore believed in you, and so do I. Finding the Horcruxes is essential, not just for you, but for Evelyn and everyone else who's at risk. You'll need strength and strategy to save her."
"But what if I can't?" Harry's voice trembled. "What if I lose her?" Tears threatened to fall from his eyes but he has cried so much in the past months, he was tired of it.
Sirius met his gaze firmly. "You won't. You have love on your side, a bond that can't be broken, even by Voldemort. Use that love to fuel your determination. Remember, you're stronger than you know."
With each word, Harry felt a flicker of hope igniting within him. The bond he shared with Evelyn was powerful, and though she was captured, their connection remained unbroken. Harry and Sirius spent the evening discussing plans, strategies, and the importance of keeping their allies close.
As the night wore on, Sirius leaned in closer. "Harry, I promise you this: we will find a way to bring her back. But you must focus on the task at hand first. You need to gather strength and allies. Ron and Hermione are with you, trust in them."
Finally, on the eve of their departure, Sirius visited one last time, his presence a steadying force. "You're not just fighting for yourself, you're fighting for everyone you care about. Hold on to that."
With a heart full of determination and a mind clear with purpose, they went to Bill's wedding. Harry wasn't sure the porpuse of having a wedding at times like this, but as Hermione said 'maybe it is exactly what we need right now'.
Maybe she was right, but without Evelyn, nothing felt right.
That evening, was when they heard that the Ministry of Magic was dead and they started to run. Now, after the fight with Ron, after he came back again and apologized, they had found three Horrocruxes and it didn't feel as hopeless anymore as he once was.
Harry would occasionally write to Steph, telling her just the minimum so she wouldn't worry. And although she never replied, he knew Steph was never the same after they had taken Evelyn. If anyone understood how he was feeling, it was her.
However, Harry had no idea that they had taken someone else she cared about so much as well. They had taken Luna and he knew the moment Mr. Lovegood told them and betrayed them. Now he had someone else he had to rescue.
And he will. He will never give up on Evelyn and therefore, he will never give up on Luna. He will save them both, he had to.
"Harry, it's not your fault she was taken." Hermione said as soon as they made their way back to the forest.
"Well, he supported me, that's why they kidnapped Luna, and that's why they kidnapped Evelyn as well." He said, feeling the lump form in his throat.
"Harry-"
"It's true. You both haven't being kidnapped because you're in a worst position with me. Finding all these horrocruxes can kill us."
"We know this already Harry. It won't stop us from still helping you. Don't you understand? The people who support you it's not because of you, it's because they all want You-Know-Who dead." Hermione said. "We all have one common enemy, so of course people are going to believe in you."
Harry understood this but still felt like all the pressure was on his shoulders. He didn't ask for any of this, yet here he was, with his two best friends, finding horrocruxes to defeat the most evil man that has ever cross paths on this planet.
Before they could even start with the tent like they would've done, they noticed they were not alone.
"Well hello beautiful." Someone said to Hermione, making her stop completely.
And no more words were exchanged as the three of them started running as fast as they could. To where? They didn't know, but they had to leave fast.
However, they were not fast enough.
And Hermione being the smart girl she was, she did a spell on Harry's face so he wouldn't be recognized.
The only problem was that his scar was there and so, the man was most sure that this was Harry Potter, although the face itself was not like him. He trusted this was Harry Potter.
And Harry knew he was screwed.
