A/N: warning - I hate writing these sort of chapters, but I know you must want to read it, so I'm sorry if it's short and uninteresting... I'll try my best. It's just boring for me to write this sort of stuff.

I also know that in the movies and in the books, this probably wouldn't have happened, since Harry was being targeted by Voldemort, but let's just roll with it.

It was the next day and Evelyn woke up very excited. She was nervous, of course, because she was hiding this huge secret from Harry. But finally he has come to his senses and was going to spend more time with her. In a better way.

As she has thought before, this'll be the first time in the whole summer that they would actually be spending time together and talk. And not just that but their very first date.

It was honestly impressive how they let them have this date, considering that you-know-who is back and they needed to be careful. But they believed Harry would be wise and not go into places where he might be found. He wouldn't put them in danger. However, they let them go with just one condition... Moody had to go with them.

At first they were disappointed, they didn't want someone to be listening in their conversations and intimate moments, but they understood that it was necessary for their safety and Moody being one of the best auror's there is out there, was the best option.

He did not want to at first, he said that it was stupid and very immature for them to be going out on a date at this time, but agreed after a very intimidated talk with Sirius and the Finley's. For Moody's liking, he had to agree.

Hermione and Ginny are helping her get ready, although she has sensed that Ginny did not like her that much. She really didn't know why but also didn't care much.

She was happy with Harry and they finally seem to be in a good place with their relationship. Although she still wasn't sure if they were already boyfriend and girlfriend, or just friends still?

Either way, she was okay with it.

"Oh you look so pretty!" Hermione said while gushing over Evelyn's look that they both helped her with.

"Thanks guys." She said blushing, still a bit in awe at how pretty she felt. It reminded her of Cedric's first date, although at that time, she had done it by herself. She was very much different than now.

Ah but she did not forget about Steph's help with the lipstick.

She missed that girl. She couldn't wait to see her at Hogwarts in two days.

There was a sudden knock on the door, making the three girls look at each other. Hermione looked at her clock and saw it was 7:00pm on the dot.

All the time she's known Harry, he has never been on time for anything. This might be a first.

"You sure are special if he's on time for the first time in his life."

Evelyn chuckled at Hermione's statement, agreeing with her. Ginny opened the door but instead of seeing Harry, it was Evelyn's dad.

"Sorry to interrupt girls-" he was saying before his eyes landed on her beautiful daughter. "Wow Eve, you-you look amazing."

Eve could feel herself blushing again and she could tell that probably through the whole night, her cheeks will be pink.

"Thank you dad." She stood up as he embraced her in a hug, feeling tears in his eyes.

"Dad? Are you crying?" She asked, as she separated and looked at him. Astonished look on her face.

"What? No- no of course not." He said as he whipped a single tear away. The other two girls giggling and aweing at the cute scene in front of them.

"Well uh I came to escort you downstairs since I must have a talk with Harry before tonight."
