Movie night 🍬

Yes, I part of the reason I thought of this is because it has a movie just like the last one I made. But, I also made it because I had a kinda of similar situation on character ai... please feed me ideas. I really need them and love doing requests! non-despair AU. so enjoy! They are already dating btw.

Shuichi's POV

I was chilling at home with my boyfriend. He was being himself. "Hey Shumai~? We should watch a movie!" He suggested. "Sure! What kind?" I asked. He put his hand to his chin, seemingly thinking of his answer. "Ooh~ how about a horror movie?" He beams. "Kokichi..." I sigh. I give him a look that says 'really? Yeah right.' He pouted, "Hmph! You're sooooo mean~! I can handle it!" He insisted. "Last time you were hiding your face and shaking half way through," I reminded him. "So!? It won't be like that this time!" Kokichi whined.  "Fine... you can pick the movie. I'll bring over some snacks," I sighed. "Thanks beloved!" He giggled. He gave me a tight hug before running off to living room to pick the movie. My boyfriend quickly picked a movie and waited for my return. I went to the kitchen to pick out snacks. I made a big bag of popcorn in the microwave. I placed the popcorn in a big bowl. Then, i repeated the process and put it in a big bowl as well. I got two drinks out of the fridge. A grape Fanta for Kokichi and a Coca Cola for myself. I returned carrying the snacks and drinks. "Which one do you want? This bowl or this bowl?" I asked. Kokichi pondered on the question for a bit. "I want this one! It has more butter!" He answered. I sighed and gave him one of the bowls. "Ok then... here you go," I stated. He came over and sat next to me on the couch, scooting super close in proximity. Kokichi unpaused the movie. The movie started to play. I was really scared of horror movies. They all were about killers or ghosts or something super unrealistic killing everyone until the main character stopped it in some way. For some reason some people never got bored of that same formula. I never really liked these made up stories. I always enjoyed true crime stories a lot more. They were interesting. Anyways, the movie started typically. Kokichi did look cute watching the movie, so at least that was good. I put one hand on his thigh and my other hand I used to eat popcorn. Kokichi was used to my hand laying there all the time, so he thought nothing of it. Eventually, it got to one of the jump scares, it was typical and I expected it so I wasn't scared. Kokichi though, he screamed a loud, high-pitched, short scream. "Aah!" He shouted. I chuckled a bit. "It's not funny!" Kokichi pouted at me. "Yeah yeah, sorry about that," I apologized in a playful manner. The movie continued and Kokichi was getting scared. He was slightly shaking, and his pupils dilated. He curled up in the blanket he brought before hand. "Shuichi! How are you not scared? Mmh,"  my boyfriend whined. He made scared little whimpers. Kokichi started tightly hugging my hand and arm that was on his thigh. He held onto it like it was his life source. I chuckled, but only a little bit. "Are you ok love? I told you we shouldn't have watched a horror movie," I reminded him. I could tell he determined to prove me wrong. "N-no! I'm not scared! I'm just... cold!" He insisted. I sighed, "if you say so..." Another character started getting brutally murdered in an unrealistic manner. Kokichi jumped. He scooted into my lap and in my arms. "Hi, thanks for the visit," I said sarcastically. "Hmph, you're welcome," he grumbled. He grabbed my hand and pulled it out of my bowl of popcorn and put it around himself. "Much better~" he said. He clearly was trying to distract himself from the movie. I kept my arms around him and we continued watching the horror movie. He had a very scared expression. He eventually turned around, burying his head into my chest. "Oh? What's this? I thought you were Mr. ' I can handle it this time'?" I slightly tease. I couldn't help it. This was the 5th time this month he said he could handle a horror movie just to get scared and cuddle to me like this. "Oh shut up..." he groaned in a still scared tone. I started petting his head and rubbing his back. He let out a shaky noise of satisfaction. I turned down the volume of the violent screaming. I continued to pet his head and caress his back. "Thanks Shumai... I'm already feeling less scared and better!" He whispered tiredly. "Are you getting tired, love?" I asked sweetly. "Well yeah..." he mumbled. "Ok do you want to finish the movie first?" I questioned. "Y-yeah... I don't want you to face it alone!" He whispered. Aw... that's surprisingly sweet for him. I took my hand off his back and started stroking his thigh with it instead. He made a small purr-like noise. I chuckled and ruffled his hair. "You're too cute, Kokichi," I complemented. "No im not! I'm a scary supreme leader! Not cute at all!" He denied. I chuckled, "yeah sure... super scary and evil, right?" I ask in a joking tone. "Yeah! Exactly!" Kokichi announced proudly. I just chuckled. Eventually, the movie ended. I grabbed an extra blanket and put it over me and Kokichi. We were still on the couch as he fell asleep. A few minutes after him I dozed off as well into a world of wonder.
