Trick or treat! 🍬

This is a non-despair AU. I know I've been using this AU a lot. I don't care. Halloween special! They go trick or treating. Usually I don't include images in my stories but I will just because I already have a great one.

Nobody's POV

Kokichi and Shuichi were going trick or treating together. It was Halloween night. Shuichi was getting ready in his costume. At the same time, Kokichi was also putting on his Halloween outfit. Kokichi drove to Shuichi's house and knocked on the door. "Hi! Let's go! I'm so excited to get candy!" Kokichi exclaimed. Shuichi chuckled and went beside Kokichi as they started walking to the first house. They looked about like this: (pretend they have candy bags.)

Kokichi was energetic as ever. Kokichi knocked at the first house. Shuichi was behind him. "Trick or treat~?" Kokichi shouted. The old woman sighed and dropped a piece of candy in both of their bags. "Aren't you teenagers too old to be trick or treating?" She asked with a grumpy expression on her face. "No~ never! Nishishi~," Kokichi chuckled. "Kokichi... you could've been more respectful..." Shuichi mentioned. "I know! But that hag was pretty much calling me immature! I could tell how hard she was judging us!" Kokichi elaborated. Shuichi sighed, "ok then..." Kokichi ran ahead of Shuichi. "Woah! Slow down..." Shuichi called out to Kokichi. "Fine shumai..." Kokichi pouted. Once Shuichi caught up, Kokichi resumed walking. They approached the next door. Shuichi knocked on the door. A man came out with a bowl of candy. "Oh take whatever you'd like! I love your costumes," the man rambled enthusiastically. "Thank you mister!" Kokichi thanked. "Happy Halloween," Shuichi smiled shyly. "See? Not all of them are hags!" Kokichi practically screamed. "Kokichi! Not so loud!" Shuichi ridiculed. Kokichi just rolled his eyes. "Kids are here. Be a good example," Shuichi told Kokichi. Kokichi protested, "no way! I'll do whatever I want~ hmph!" They went from house to house to house. Until Kokichi got tired. "Shumai~ can you carry me? My legs are tired!" Kokichi complained. Shuichi mumbled, "o-ok... but you still have to hold your own candy..." Kokichi smiled at this. "Ok! Got it~" Kokichi declared. Shuichi scooped Kokichi up in his arms. "Ooh~ I feel like a princess! Like I'm getting carried by my knight in shining armor! Right, Mr detective~?" Kokichi giggled. Shuichi sighed and shook his head, "sure Kokichi..." Kokichi spotted a small house-like building in the distance. "It's a hounded house! Can we go in!? Please? I bet you'll get soooooo scared!" Kokichi declared with a cocky smirk on his face. "Well see," Shuichi responded. At this point, Shuichi didn't want to deal with all of this. Shuichi carried Kokichi to the haunted house entrance. He stepped in. The atmosphere was thick and ghostly. "Ooh spooky!" Kokichi pointed out. Some movement-triggered props. It wasn't very scary, but Shuichi was shaking a little bit. "Is Mr detective scared? Hehe!" Kokichi taunted. "No! I'm just cold..." Shuichi projected defensively. Shuichi stomped through the rest of the haunted house and made it to the end. Kokichi suggested, "let's continue trick or treating!" Shuichi looked down at him. "Sure Kokichi," Shuichi nodded in a agreement. "Can you put me down now?" Kokichi asked. Shuichi set him down. Kokichi hopped around to the next house. Kokichi yelled in happiness, "THEY HAVE FULL SIZE CANDY BARS!" Shuichi facepalmed. "Kokichi not so loud..." Shuichi reminded the shorter gremlin-like male. "Fine I guess... party pooper!" Kokichi grumbled at the taller emo male. Shuichi followed Kokichi around as he energetically collected candy. As immature as it was, Shuichi smiled. It felt like a part of him he'd forgotten about a long long time ago. It was feeding his inner child through Kokichi's antics. "Let's go back to your place, shumai. I'm really tired." Kokichi yawned. Shuichi looked at him and nodded. They made their way to Shuichi's humble abode. Shuichi showed Kokichi to his room. They both set their candy bags down my Shuichi's bed. They started getting ready for bed. Brushing their teeth, showering, washing their face, etc. Kokichi and Shuichi got changed into pajamas. Since Kokichi didn't bring any of his other clothing, he wore Shuichi's clothing. One of Shuichi's shirts and boxers. His costume was placed in a bag for him to take when he went back home. They were both ridiculously big on him. Shuichi lied down in the bed. Kokichi flopped ont he bed shortly after him. Kokichi eagerly turned on the original Hocus Pocus to fall asleep to. "Goodnight shu-shu..." Kokichi mumbled in his tiredness. As the movie started, Kokichi kissed Shuichi's cheek. Then, nuzzled into his chest and fell asleep. Shuichi's cheeks tinted a light shade of pink. He then decided to cuddle up to Kokichi as well, just holding the smaller boy in his arms. Shuichi then mumbled into Kokichi's ear, "You're just so cute... good night, happy Halloween, beautiful..."
