Kokichi's POV

It was a dark night. The cool breeze hit my shoulders. I was in a field of grass by myself. I was gazing at the sky. The stars all speckled like glitter. Suddenly, I felt a vibration from Shuichi, my roommate. I pick up the phone, "hello? Do you need something?" He sighs, "where are you?" I then realize I didn't tell him I'd be gone. "I'm just at the park a block away," I responded. "Why?" Shuichi asked. "I'm just bored lol," I giggled. Shuichi questioned, "can I come?" I pondered on the question for a bit. "Sure..." I mumbled. I put my phone back in my pocket and waited for him to come. The cool breeze flowed through my hair. The stars sparkled in the sky. They looked so beautiful. I lost myself in their beauty. I heard a honk from behind me. I recognized Shuichi's car. He stepped out and walked over. He slowly sat down next to me. "So what are you doing here?" He asked calmly. "I'm just bored and you know how loud our neighbors are at night. Ugh, especially Miu," I answered. "mmh..l ok! That sounds interesting. Also, I know right!? Miu can't keep it down..." Shuichi groaned. "Hm yeah..." I whispered. I laid back. "They look so pretty," I rambled. "Kokichi, you sound like Kaito," he sighed. I did kinda of seem like kaito when I took his thing for astrology, but we are nothing alike. He can stay farrrrr away from me! "I'm cold," I mentioned. "Well it is cold out," he stated. Shuichi wasn't getting the hint! "Can I have your jacket? Please? It looks so big and warm!" I asked with a cheeky expression. Shuichi rolled his eyes and caved in. "Sure," he agreed. I wrapped his jacket around me. I spotted a bit close and laid my head down on his arm slightly. He just chuckled. The stars were dark and bright at the same time. Like the light in Shuichi's eyes. Shuichi rested his hand on my waist. I giggled quietly. He smiled at me. It seemed pretty bold for Shuichi. Maybe Kaede encouraged him to act like this.  I fidgeted with the end of his sleeve. The gentle fabric felt nice on my fingertips. I nuzzled my head deeper in his arm, scooting a hit closer. My eyes were still locked onto the starry sky. "Is that the Orion constellation?" He asked. I looked closely. It definitely was. "Hmm it is," I agreed. Shuichi put his fingers in my hair. He started to play with my hair like how I was p,aging with the end of his sleeve. It was a calm full atmosphere. I looked back at Shuichi. "This is peaceful," I murmured. He nodded in agreement. I smiled at him, and he smiled back. "Hehe! It looks like you're gonna kiss me!" I giggled, joking. Shuichi chuckled and decided to fight me back. "I wouldn't mind that," he responded. I didn't expect that at all. Our eyes locked and it felt like it wasn't a joke. He slid his hand under my chin, and pulled my face closer. I was surprised, but excited. It felt like I could shrink and grow bigger than everyone at the same time. His lips connected with mine. It was sweet and tender. I started kissing him. He kissed me back. My heart was thumping so fast and my mind was running an overload with a million thoughts. The kiss was short, maybe 4 seconds at most. Even in that short period of time, it felt as if time slowed. It felt as if the moment was never-ending. Then, it ended. We both pulled back. Shuichi shyly smiled at me and slightly looked away. I just went back to looking at the sky. I had so many thoughts and I bet Shuichi did too. I felt a yawn escape my lips. I was definitely tired, but I decided to  hold up for a few minutes. I scooted a lot more onto Shuichi. I was practically on top of him,  yet it only made him laugh. I gazed at the stars again. They were so perfect. Each was bright and unique, even if I couldn't see all the perfect details. I turned around and buried my face in Shuichi's chest. I shut my eyes and let myself try to get consumed by sleep. Soon enough, I was asleep. Next morning I woke up on my bed. I definitely didn't fall asleep here last night. I went to make breakfast and continue on with my day.
