Third Person's POV

Zayn strolled through the bustling mall, his mind still lingering on the conversation with his mother. The emotional weight of their exchange had eased, but the lingering tension remained like a shadow. As his parents wandered into a clothing store, he decided to take a break from their ongoing debate over a dress and explore the mall on his own.

He walked aimlessly at first, allowing the sights and sounds of the mall to wash over him, a welcome distraction from his swirling thoughts. The bright lights, the chatter of shoppers, and the rhythmic hum of the escalators provided a comforting background noise.

Eventually, he found himself standing in front of the game zone. The vibrant neon lights and the cheerful sounds of arcade machines beckoned him inside, offering a brief escape from reality. As he stepped in, the familiar buzz of excitement filled the air, and he couldn't help but smile.

As Zayn wandered through the rows of games, something caught his eye-a unicorn soft toy sitting proudly inside a glass box. His heart skipped a beat as he remembered the fun fair where he had won a similar toy for Muskan. The memory of her laughter and the sparkle in her eyes as he handed her the toy flashed through his mind, making him pause.

The game that held the unicorn was one he recognized-a claw machine. The objective was simple: maneuver the metal claw inside the glass box, position it over the desired prize, and hope it successfully grabbed the item and dropped it into the prize chute. Zayn's eyes narrowed with determination. It seemed easy, but he knew from experience that it required precision and a bit of luck.

He approached the machine, slipping a coin into the slot. The claw moved into action, and Zayn carefully controlled it, his fingers deftly maneuvering the joystick. He positioned the claw over the unicorn, his eyes focused on the prize. But as he pressed the button, the claw descended, missed the toy by inches, and returned empty-handed.

He gritted his teeth and tried again. And again. Each attempt seemed to get closer, but the unicorn remained frustratingly out of reach. Zayn's determination only grew with each failure. He shifted his stance, focused more intently, and even adjusted the angle of the claw. But no matter what he did, the toy slipped through the claw's grip every time.
