Reil had come back to work, relieving a huge weight off Sarah's shoulders.

Working alone felt like taking care of all the children in the world, in one house (if that made sense).

But Bill had helped her out since he was also taking care of the company himself.

He'd given her some tips on what and what not to do.

They'd also met occasionally to talk about business and other stuff.

Maybe it was God's way of letting her know he was the one of her. Maybe.

It could be she was mistaken, just like her exes and the fact she'd thought they were also the ones for her.

But whatever it was, she was going to enjoy her time with him to the fullest, and since he'd asked to take her out that evening, she was going to enjoy every moment.

“I think you should head home to rest, you've done a lot already.” Reil said.

It was true. She had done a lot for a week, but she wasn't sure if leaving all the work for a pregnant woman was the right thing to do.

“Nah, there's not much to do anyway.” She shrugged like it was nothing.

She could cope with all the work, and the fact she was going out with Bill was like a reward for all her work.

“You seem happy.” Reil pointed out, causing her to realize she had a smile on her face.

“Hmm.”

“Is it about a boy?” Thank goodness she was dark skinned, or else the teasing note in Reil's voice would've made her face turn pink.

“Hmm.”

Bill's car came to a halt in front of her and he got out of it, a smile appearing on his lips.

“Hi.” He walked towards her, pulling her in a very unexpected hug, which caused her heart to race ten times faster.

He must've sensed the tenseness in her because he pulled apart immediately. “Uh, sorry.”

“Hmm,” was all she could say as she couldn't make words out due to the effect of the hug.

Like the gentleman he was, he opened the car door for her, closing it once she was in, then walking round the car, he got to the driver's seat.

She did her seatbelt and so did he.

“Where are we going?” Finally, her heart had gone back to the normal beating rate and she could form words.

“The park.” He said as he started the car.

She raised an eyebrow. “The park?” For some reason, she'd felt disappointed (though she obviously wouldn't admit that)

She'd expected him to take her somewhere romantic. Like the beach or a restaurant or something.

Not the park.

He nodded, “I just thought since it'll be empty, we could just talk and get to know each other better.”

Know each other better.

He wanted them to know things about each other. Wow.

The drive to the park was short and silent. Though the silence wasn't awkward.

Once his car came to a halt, she undid her seatbelt, then got out of his car.

He came out of the car also, locking it before walking over to her.

Like he'd said, the park was empty leaving it for only the two of them.

The thought of the two of them being alone in a place in the evening caused her stomach to do a little jumpy lumpy.
