Chapter One Hundred and Five

Reil was very ecstatic about the fact it was the day to reveal her child's gender.

She'd told Drix she wanted it to be done in a grand way, so he'd decided that they would reveal it through the color of a Mercedes Benz.

Drix had said he was happy with whatever gender his child had and so he didn't want to wear any cloth color.

But she'd let him know that it was culture and it didn't actually mean that was what they wanted.

So since she'd gone with the pink shirt, he went with the blue since it seemed like it was also culture for both parents to wear two different colors.

Her child had been kicking more and more recently and she suspected she was going to have an energetic baby.

“I'm super excited,” she said to Drix who was sitting beside her in the car, “in a few hours we'll know the child we're going to have.”

“I'm also very excited.” He said, smiling down at her, she couldn't help but notice how handsome he looked in the blue top he had on that said, ‘I’m a baby boy' and the black jeans he'd topped it with.

Her pink shirt said ‘I'm a baby girl’, with a baby girl's picture attached to it, and she also wore a black jean trouser.

Her bump was really big, she had to wear a big shirt to be able to suit her.

She'd also gotten way fatter, and craved tons of food most nights, but she was thankful she hadn't grown uglier (at least that was what Drix told her).

The car came to a halt in front of the place they'd booked for the gender reveal party.

The Benz car was in front of the building wrapped in gray clothing and as she got out of the car whose door was opened by a bodyguard, she resisted the urge to take off the clothing.

Tons of people had already arrived so as she walked in, she was greeted by a lot of her friends.

“Hey,” Sarah sauntered towards her, with Bill holding her waist, walking beside her with both of them in the blue shirt.

“You guys are early.” She smiled at them.

“No, you're late.” Sarah said, smiling at her.

Reil rolled her eyes. “We're the main people in this party, so you can't expect us to come early.”

“Smart theory.” She didn't hide the sarcasm in her tone causing Reil to chuckle.

Greg and Lenny walked in soon with Angle, the three dressed in pink shirts. Reil gasped when she saw the two were holding hands.

Drix raised an eyebrow. “What's going on?”

“Her man.” Greg patted his back, while Drix stared at him in askance.

“I'll explain later.” She whispered to him, then turned to Lenny, “I didn't know you guys were a thing already.”

She shrugged, then blushed. “It just kinda happened.”

“We'll talk about it later, the three of us.” Sarah said and they both nodded their agreement.

Ivy and Sean had arrived, Ivy dressed in a blue shirt while Sean wore a pink shirt, but Bale didn't come with his family, not that she'd expected him to come.

They talked some more and then Cherry arrived, dressed in a blue shirt.

More of her friends arrived and they chatted some more till it was finally time.

Everyone gathered outside where the car was.

She'd never felt so excited. “Gosh, Drix, we're finally going to see our baby's gender, I'm so so excited.”

He squeezed her hand, then took the mic. “Thank you all for coming, we really appreciate the fact you arrived to celebrate such a day with us.”

“We'll be revealing the gender soon, and would love it if those with the blue shirts stay by the right while those with the pink shirts stay by the left.”

Everyone cooperated, moving to their respective places.

“We'd reveal the gender at the count of ten.” Drix said, dropping the mic as he reached for the clothing that covered the gender of her child.

She reached for the other end of the clothing, and she'd never felt more excited.

In ten seconds, she'd know the gender of her sweet child.

“Ten!” Everyone echoed and her heart raced a little bit faster in both excitement and nervousness.

“Nine!”

“Eight!”

Her grip on the clothing tightened. Seven seconds to go to see your gender my sweetheart.

“Seven!”

“Six!”

“Five!”

“Four!”

Three seconds to go my dear child.

“Three!”

“Two!”

Everyone seemed excited and in suspense as they screamed the last second. “One!”

She turned to Drix who gave her a smile that expressed how much he loved her.

She took in a deep breath, before they both threw the clothing off the car to reveal a beautiful pink Mercedes Benz.

Everyone —both wearing blue and pink— jumped in excitement, hugging each other and screaming.

Tears welled in her eyes as she saw the beautiful pink car. A baby girl. She was having a baby girl.

A girl was growing in her stomach.

She wanted to throw Drix into a hug, which was when she realized he was no longer in front of her.

Where had he gone to?

The crowd began screaming even more as they stared behind her.

She pivoted in confusion, but then her hand flew to her mouth when she sighted Drix on one knee with a ring on his hand.

She felt tears fall down her cheeks. He'd chosen the best moment to propose.

“Reil Andy Sincol.” That was the first time he said her full name and she found herself crying even more. “Will you marry me?”

She'd be a fool to refuse, but she couldn't make words so she just nodded with the crowd cheering even more.

He rose to his feet, taking her left hand in his and slipping a diamond ring on her ring finger.

“I love you,” he took her hand from her mouth, then leaned closer to press his lips against hers.

The kiss spoke the amount of love he had for her and she ensured she expressed her love for him also in the kiss.

Wow, she just had two good things happen to her in one day.

She found out she was having a baby girl and she just got proposed to, with the most beautiful diamond ring.

They'd spent fifty million dollars for the preparation of the gender reveal party and it'd ended with only happiness.

Could she really feel happier?
