Sarah was chuffed when she found out Reil had been found and although she'd been told that Reil had gone to meet a friend, she didn't believe that one bit.

Yeah, Reil had friends, but not ones close enough to stay with for a whole day, or have a sleepover with.

She pulled over in front of the Rendox Heix company.

Grabbing her bag, she opened the car door, closing it as soon as she was out.

She had to be at Bible study, but needed to drop some files with Bill before she went so she'd come to do just that.

She sauntered in, heading to the receptionist who already knew her too well.

“Sarah, nice to see you.” She said with a grin on her face.

“Hey,” Sarah picked the pen beside the register book, writing down her name and the time with her signature, “in a little hurry, so can't stay, sorry.”

She dropped the pen, sauntering to whatever direction (which she was already familiar with) leading to Bill's office.

She stopped in front of his office, raising her hand which had been wrapped in a fist as she gave the door a slight knock.

“Coming.” She heard his voice from the other side of the office, which was followed by shuffling sounds then a few seconds later, the door swung open.

He seemed surprised to see her, which was expected as she had come unannounced.

“Sarah! What a surprise.” His smile went from ear to ear, as he made way for her to pass. “Come in.”

She gave him a small smile, walking in and he followed behind her, dwarfing her figure. “Sorry for the unannounced arrival, I just wanted to drop some files.”

She reached for the files in her bag, pivoting and stretching it to him. “It's related to the review on the production group, all you have to do is give it a go ups.”

He took it from her, his gaze not leaving her like he couldn't believe she was in front of him.

“I'll get going now.” She said, knowing it was rude to just appear at someone's workplace unannounced and leaving immediately.

But she had to be somewhere important though.

When he didn't speak, she decided to walk past him and towards the door.

“Uh, y-you—” he stopped her with his voice and she turned to him.

“I?”

“You promised to have coffee with me last time.” He said, placing the hand which wasn't holding the files, in his pocket.

How on earth did he always remember that? She always forgot as soon as she walked past him.

He certainly was a weird guy.

And she couldn't go, because she had to go to Bible study and she couldn't bail on that for any reason.

How could she explain that to him? “Um…” she didn't mean to, but she found herself scratching her hair awkwardly.

He seemed to have gotten a hint. “Oh you don't have to go if you don't want to.”

But she could hear the disappointment in his tone, and she didn't like disappointing people.

“I really have somewhere to be.” She explained and he smiled, waving a hand.

“Oh it's okay, you can go.”

“Next time, I promise.” She knew she'd said tons of next time since she'd met him and she didn't like that.

“Okay.”

She turned and then left. She went to the elevator, pressing the button.

After a moment, it dinged and the doors separated, revealing a female she knew she recognized.

She entered, trying to figure out where she knew the female.

“Sarah?” The female said first and she immediately recognized those soft voice.

“Lenny?” She snickered. Lenny Micks was her highschool best friend.

They'd been friends throughout highschool, but separated when they both went to different colleges.

Now, it was certainly a surprise to see her. A nice surprise.

“Woah, you look so…” Lenny said, seeming surprised as she stared her down —”so beautiful.”

“You don't look bad either.” She said, a smile plastered on her face. “Woah, I can't believe it's you.”

Lenny stared at her like she was seeing an art at a museum, then snickered. “Wow, I'm so surprised.”

“What're you doing here?” She asked, her face aching from how wide her smile was, but she wasn't sure if she was going to stop it.

“I work here.” She said, seeming proud of that.

“Wow, I knew you were meant for business.”

“What're you doing here?”

Sarah shrugged, tugging a few braids behind her ear. “I work as the secretary to the CEO of a company that's doing business with this company.”

“Wow, does that mean we'd see each other often?” That seemed to make her happy which was something Sarah liked.

“I guess.”

“Why don't I get your phone number so we'd get in touch again?”

“Sure.”

They exchanged numbers, and didn't even realize when the elevator had opened.

They left together and talked some more till they were as free with each other as they were in highschool.

Then she left for Bible study, which they had arranged at one of the church members, Cherry's house.

Wow, it was so nice she'd met with Lenny again.
