Muhammad's POV

Is it possible to fall in love with the same person everyday? Cause I am. Every day I look at her, touch her, or even think of her, I fall more in love with every fiber of her being. It's torture not being able to touch her however I want or see her in my space all the time.

Now I have to settle for when I drive her to school, even though she pouts about it, or when I convince her to let me take her on a date or when I run into her in the main house that I make sure to visit every day now.

It's still not enough. I want her to be mine again. I hate the subtle distance between us, although it is slowly bridging itself, but I still hate it. She watches me sometimes when she thinks I'm not noticing, and she has this hesitant look in her eyes as though she's waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Whenever I tell her I love her at the end of the night, she opens her mouth as if she wants to stay it back but she stops herself. It hurts but I understand and I'm more than wiling to wait for however long it takes if it means that one day she'll look at me with love and trust in her eyes.

For now I'll settle for the look of happiness on her face when I take her on a date. She looks at me like I'm fulfilling her date wishlist every time and in a way I am.

Her Pinterest is a huge help when it comes to planning. She literally has a board for everything. Her favorite books, her dream fantasy world, her dream dates, dream house, dream wedding which looks very very similar to ours, so yeah basically everything has its own board. Even Inayah's birthday has its own board and as I step into the backyard, every thing I saw in that board is here.

My baby girl is four today. It was crazy waking up, knowing she's one year older. It literally feels like yesterday when I held her for the first time. The moment I looked into her eyes exactly like mine, I just knew that I would spend the rest of my life loving and protecting her. Everything I've done since she was born was all for her, and I would do it all again.

Back to today, Madeenah has managed to turn the backyard into a Frozen theme bouncy and candy land. Colors are every where I turn. There's a huge Elsa bouncy castle on my right and a smaller Anna one right next to it. There's picnic table with different characters as chairs. There's like three candy stalls on the other side of the backyard. Kids run around and I step out of the way as they almost run into me. Some parents stand by the side near the adult tables.

I look around trying to locate my wife and daughter but I can't see either of them. Mami told me they were both out here but all I see are a million kids jumping and running on a sugar high. Some kids are holding a karaoke mic as they sing along to the frozen song. I pick up my phone to call Madeenah as I start to move back towards the house.

She picks after a few rings. "I see you trying to escape." She says with a chuckle.

I pause. "I don't know what you're talking about." I look around to see if I can spot her.

"Behind you." She says and I turn to see her walking towards me with a tray of juice boxes.

"I definitely wasn't escaping." I say to her as I grab the tray from her.

She raises a brow at me, "Sure Muhammad."

"Where do you want this, event planner?" I ask her.

"Just on the tables." She says then walks me to the middle of the chaos.

I barely drop the tray before we are attacked on all sides. I grab Madeenah and pull her to me. The kids push against our legs as they grab the juice boxes. Madeenah chuckles while I glower at them. If I wasn't holding on to her they would've knocked her over.
