Sarah sauntered into Reil's office, and noticed that Reil still had the same thoughtful expression since she'd come to work.

“You sure all's alright?” She dropped the files that were on her hand, on the desk in front of Reil.

“Yeah.” A feigned smile left Reil, “what're these for?”

“Sales on the newly launched products.” Sarah explained and Reil nodded, scrolling through the files.

“That's good.”

“Yeah,” she observed Reil's mood. Something was obviously bothering her, but it was no use digging in when she got no shovel.

“Can I leave work earlier today?” She asked.

She hadn't heard from Bill since he took her out to the park and she'd been missing him since then.

She'd had tons of dreams about him every night and she really wanted to see him.

“Yeah, sure.” Reil said it like she couldn't care less if she left early or not.

“Thanks, I'll get going then.”

“Hmm.”

She pivoted leaving the office, then searched for her contacts from her phone that had been on her hand.

She sent a message to him asking if he'd be available.

His reply came almost immediately, and disappointment swept past her when he said he was at Cherry's and might not be available.

She sighed, then opened the office door, closing it behind her once she was out.

So she wasn't going to meet with him another extra day.

She sighed, surprised by how crestfallen she felt.

Well, she'd probably see him another day.

Sarah had decided to not leave work earlier anymore since there was no use.

She'd just end up staying at home and doing nothing till dawn broke.

When she headed towards her car, she was surprised when she sighted Bill's car behind hers, with his handsome and tall figure leaning against it.

Her insides became bubbly at his sight and she'd never felt so elated to see someone.

She sauntered towards him, and a smile she was sure matched hers, appeared on his lips.

“Hey,” he greeted.

“I thought you said you were at Cherry's and couldn't come.” She couldn't stop the smile no matter how she tried.

“I was, but had to cut the visit short to be with you.” He winked at her which caused her heart to flutter.

He'd come because of her. How romantic.

“Wow, you didn't have too.” Though she was very grateful he did that.

“And risk seeing you so excited to see me? No thank you.” He gave her a knowing smile and gosh could her heart race any faster?

“Why don't we go on a walk?” That was a good way of avoiding more discussions on what he'd said. “The weather's nice for a walk.”

“Hmm, you're right.” He nodded.

Soon, they were both ambling side-by-side on the streets of New York City with silence permeating around them.

“I've said a lot about me and would like to know you too.” He broke the silence, his tone low and soft like the wind sweeping past them.
