I immediately retreat to my room, hiyang hiya ako dahil sa nangyari kanina. turns out my neck is very exposed because I currently wore a low rise t-shirt that exposed the half of my neck. napaupo nalang ako sa upoan na nandito sa silid ko ng makarinig ako ng pagkatok sa pinto.
"Wife." based on the voice I'm sure that it's Kairus.
Hindi ako sumagot bagkos nanatili lang akong tahimik nang tumigil ang pagkatok ay naging kampante na ako na wala na ito ng biglang bumokas ang pintuan ng aking silid.
"What the héll Kairus, dont you know what privacy is?" Napaikot ko nalang ang aking mga mata dahil sa inis.
"Privacy? nonsense your my wife Anna, I'll always remind you that." nakangising sabi nito saka nagsalita ulit. "Go eat now." he said while carefully putting the dishes he brought with him in my small table.
"Nakakainis ka talaga." I glared at him.
"Mahal mo naman." kaagad akong namula sa sinabi nito.
"What nonsense are you spouting?" I said while trying to hide my cremson cheeks.
"Namumula ka nga oh." he teasingly said.
"Anong pinagsasabi mo diyan, it's just that it's hot that why my cheeks are like that." I said while trying to sound defensive.
"I didn't even ask you." parang nasabi ko nayan kagabi ah.
I glared at him then rolled my eyes. nakakainis talaga ang lalaking to parang pinanganak kahapon.
"Umalis ka nga diyan sa harapan ko." I said then shift my gaze at the door, na para bang may hinihintay akong lumabas doon.
"Fine, fine, but make sure to eat your breakfast. baka magkasakit pa si baby niyan." I didn't even have the time so sa something when he immediately run.
Gagó talaga ang lalaking yon. anong baby ang sinasabi niya? I unconsciously touch my belly. the héll looks like Kairus influence me. Napatingin naman ako sa dinalang pagkain ni Kairus kanina, it looks like yummy so I immediately take a spoon to taste it.
HAPON na nang maisipan kong lumabas sa aking silid, dahil sa pagod ko natulog lang ako buong araw, while Kairus is nowhere to be found. napagisipan kong maglakad lakad mona para magpahangin at para narin uminom ng kape sa favorite coffeeshop ko.
I'm just minding my own business while walking ng bigla nalang may humawak sa braso ko. I immediately look to the person who has the guts to touch me. when I saw Jason smiling.
"The héll Jason, you shocked the héll out of me." I said while touching my chest.
"I'm sorry about that, it just that I'm worried about you. you didn't contact me for weeks now I'm worried that something might happened to you." he said with full of sincerity.
"You don't have to worry about me Jason, because I'm perfectly fine." I said.
"That's good to hear. now can I invite you to have a coffee with me?" he said with he's eyes full of hope.
"Sure." I said.
Dahil narin sa naaawa ako sa kanya kaya I decided to go with him. wala din naman akong gagawin and I'm also planning to go the caffe to grab some coffee.
"Thank you for agreeing Anna." he said then gave me he's usually smile.
"Welcome?" I answered vaguely.
He chuckled then pat my head lightly.
"You really remind me of someone." he said while still smiling.
"Who's someone?" I unconsciously ask. I didn't even realize that I blurted it out.
"Someone that close to me, but let's not talk about her. now let's go?" he said then extend he's hand to me.
Of course I didn't accept it, I'm a married woman so I shouldn't let any man touch me. masyado pa namang abnormal si Kairus. I just sight when I realized that I keep thinking about Kairus. hindi ko na nga napansin na nakarating na pala kami sa coffeeshop and Jason is ordering for me.
"The usual please and same order for this madam beside me." he said then wink on me.
"Sira ka talaga." I said while giggling.
"I'm just making you laugh Anna, because your more beautiful when you laugh more often." he said sincerely.
"So I'm not beautiful anymore, pagnagtataray ako?" I ask jokingly.
"Your still beautiful but your more beautiful when you smile and laugh." he said then tuck the strand of my hair.
Kaagad naman akong pinamulahaan sa sinabi niya. he really can make every woman hearts flutter.
"Bolero." I said while laughing.
"I never joke when it comes to compliment Anna, your beautiful I mean it." he said that makes me quite.
Nakarating kami sa usual na upoan namin na tahimik. nahihiya akong magsalita dahil narin sa sinabi niya kanina. I'm used to people complimenting me but I don't know why this guy makes my heart flutter everytime that he compliments me.
"So how are you this past few days Anna?" Jason broke the silence when he notice that I don't have the courage to talk.
"Still the same, how about you?" I ask too.
"Pretty the same too, but it change when I see you." he said then chuckle lightly.
"Your aware that I'm married right?" I ask then show him my ring. "Your completely aware that your flirting with a married woman." I said frankly.
I don't wanna be seen as a cheater because in reality I don't do that thing. I don't wanna be like my father.
Tumawa naman ito saka nagsalita. "I'm sorry Anna, if that makes you uncomfortable it just that your too good to be true. I don't even know anymore if that jérk deserves you." he said.
"What do you mean by that?" I ask curiously.
"It's not for me to say Anna, but gladly I already found you a private detective." he said while looking at me with anger in he's eyes.
"You already found one?" I ask again I just wanna make sure.
"Yes."
"I already know a little bit of his past but I still wanna confirm it." I said.
"That's good to hear." he said. "Because that jérk has a lot of explaining to do."
I don't know why I don't wanna continue spying him.
