We walked through an alleyway for a couple of minutes before we came to a stop in front of a brick wall.Hagrid tapped the bricks in a specific pattern, and a doorway appeared. We walked through it.
"Wow... This must be Diagon Alley," I said, looking around.
There were a bunch of other witches and wizards walking around and entering shops.
"C'mon Lillian, er', I'll call you Lily, and 'Arry," Hagrid called.
I nodded, and suddenly realized we were just standing there looking around, most likely looking like idiots, while Hagrid was almost fifty feet in front of us.
We jogged to catch up with Hagrid. He took much larger steps, since his legs were probably taller than Harry and I combined.
"Righ', let's see, where to firs'- oh yeah, Gringotts, o' course, ya' need yer' money..."
"Whats Gringotts?" I asked. These wizard places had really weird names.
"The bank," Hagrid replied.
"Are we rich?" I asked curiously.
Hagrid chuckled, shaking his head, not exactly saying no, but out of amusement.
We entered, er, Gringotts, and to my surprise, there were some weird creatures sitting at desks at the back of the lobby and all along the sides of the walls.
" 'ello, there, Griphook, I'm here to withdraw some money 'rom Harry and Lillian Potter's vault," Hagrid said.
"Potter?" The thing asked, eyes widening. He looked behind Hagrid, saw Harry and I, then back at Hagrid, looking surprised.
"Well- alright, then, do you have the key?" Grip hook questioned.
"I think so- hol' on, in 'ere somewhere, ah, here it is!" Hagrid pulled a silver key out of his pocket, along with a chewed up piece of gum, and a crumpled up piece of paper.
That was just nasty.
"Okay, follow me, er, Mister and Miss Potter."
We walked into a room with a track hovering above a large gap in-between two platforms. It almost looked like a roller coaster track, in the best way to describe it. It was all rusty, and it looked like it had been through the worst there could be for, well, train tracks.
"When is the dumb train coming?" I asked impatiently. I covered my mouth quickly when I got a look from the goblin thingy.
Finally, the train came. But instead of the train I was expecting, a cart arrived on the tracks, which was rusty and old, much alike the tracks.
Harry immediately climbed into the back seat, and I got into the cart, next to him.
The thing climbed into the front seat, pushed a button, and we started shooting forwards.
"AHHHHH!" I screamed closing my eyes and blocking my ears. We were gonna die. We were gonna die! WE WERE GOING REALLY FAST!
The cart came to a stop after about five
minutes, and I opened my eyes. I looked over at Harry, who had an expression on his face that said 'you're an idiot.' I stuck my tongue out at him, holding up my fist playfully."Hold up a sec..." I said. "I've gotta fix my hair, it's all in my face from that cart."
Harry rolled his eyes, and the goblin crossed his arms, giving me an annoyed look.
I gave him a look right back.
I whipped all my hair in front of my face to put it in a ponytail, to see it was a very dark red. Way darker than usual. Like, evil red. Like the kind of evil red my face turned when somebody stole my food. Well, at least it wasn't as weird as when my hair turned bright blue.
My hair didn't usually change colors. But over the years, I had noticed that the few times I felt truly happy, my hair tended to do strange things. Then again, the times when I was happy were never around the Dursleys, so they had never noticed this unusual thing.
"Ah, look what we have here... a Metamorphmagus," Griphook said knowingly.
I crinkled up my nose. A Metamorphma-what?
As if he read my thoughts, the goblin explained what the Metamorphma-what was.
"A Metamorphmagus is someone who has the ability to change their appearance at will. Their hair color or eye color can often change based on their emotions, as well," he explained.
"That explains a lot..." Harry mumbled.
I mean, my hair rarely changed colors, and it usually only happened when I was feeling really happy. That was why it was so rare, because with the Dursleys, I was hardly ever happy. But before I knew I was a witch, I just brushed it off, or blamed it on the lighting. My hair would usually only turn darker, but sometimes it would become a crazy color, and I'd just convince myself I was imagining it...
I sent Harry a brain message. Yep I said brain message. It was a twin thing. Or, as my new discovery, a magical twin thing. I guessed that all magical twins could do it, unless Harry and I were just weird.
'I hate this bloody midget. By the way, I stole your candy that you stole from Dudley.'
'NOOOOO! I hate you Lily'
'Love you too, Harry.'
"I am not here to educate you. Can we please just go get your money?" the goblin asked, sounding desperate. Probably desperate to get away from us, because I was obnoxious.
"Yep," I replied, popping the 'p'.

We got all of our school supplies except our wands. Well, and pets if that counted. But I was magic, so I could probably just make one appear or something!
Harry got a pet from Hagrid. We were supposed to share it, but I let Harry have it, because the owl really seemed to connect with Harry more.
"Right, Harry, Lily, you two go an' get yer wands in there, I'll be back," Hagrid said, stopping outside of a small store named Ollivanders
"Okay," Harry and I said in unison. "See you later!"
Hagrid raised his eyebrows. He looks kinda creeped out. Maybe we were really weird.
"Hurry, let's go get our wands so I can make all the poptarts in the world appear!" I exclaimed, dragging Harry into the store.
"Mr. Potter, Mrs. Potter...I have been expecting you," an old man said. I guessed that he was Ollivander?
I thought I was creepy... but that was just a whole different level of creepy.
"Er, hello sir..." I said, looking around the store.
"Hello Mr. Ollivander," Harry said.
I sent him a brain message. It was so funny, doing that unexpectedly and watching him jump, surprised by the sudden voice in his head. Hehe.
'Why do you have to be so polite? It annoys the heck out of me.'
We left the wand shop about twenty minutes later. My wand, as said by the old dude, was Phoenix feather and oak wood. Harry and I both had a Phoenix feather in our wands.
I had a feeling this was going to be a good year.
