"Neville? What are you doing here?" I hissed. He jumped up, standing in front of the portrait.

"I'm not letting you go. You're going to do something dangerous, and I know it! You'll get points taken from Gryffindor!" Neville said.

"Neville, I'm really sorry about this," Hermione said. "Petrificus Totales!"

Neville froze, and fell over. We stared at him for a moment, then kept walking.

Harry, Hermione, Ron, and I walked through the corridors, under the invisibility cloak. We were all able to just fit underneath it.

"Over here," I whispered, leading everyone to the door where Fluffy was in. "Hermione, do you know the spell? The one that plays music?"

"Yes," she whispered back.

I cautiously opened the door, and we all quickly got in. The dog was asleep, but when it heard the door shut, it opened one eye. I spotted a flute on the floor that whoever was here last must've used, and even though it was pretty gross, I started playing random notes as gracefully as I could.

The dog fell back asleep, and I noticed the trap door. But it was under one of Fluffy's paws.

"We have to lift his paw," Hermione said as I continued to play the flute. Harry, Ron, and Hermione worked together to move his paw while I continued to play.

Harry opened up the trap door, and looked down. There was a huge drop, and we didn't know if it was safe to even drop that far down.

I set down the flute, and sat at the edge, my legs dangling over.

"What're you doing?" Hermione hissed, looking at the dog who was beginning to wake up.

"Jumping down," I answered, and jumped. I fell through the darkness, that weird falling feeling in my stomach.

The dog started getting up, and running towards Harry, Hermione, and Ron, so they jumped down almost right after me. I could hear Ron screaming the whole way down.

"Oomph!" I landed into a mess of green leaves and vines. The next thing I knew, they started wrapping around me. Harry landed next, then Hermione, then Ron.

I screamed as the vines started wrapping around my neck. I squirmed and tried to get out of it, and Ron did the same.

"Stop moving around so much! It's Devil's Snare, I read about it in a herbology book. Don't move, or else you'll only die faster," Hermione said urgently. She relaxed, and then fell through the plant.

"Well that's comforting!" I hissed.

"Hermione!" Ron yelled, continuing to squirm. I relaxed, and there I went, through the plant. Harry fell down next.

"Ron, stop moving!" Harry called. Ron didn't stop.

"Stop moving, Ron, it'll only kill you faster!" Hermione cried.

"Oh, now I can relax!" Ron shouted.

"Obviously he isn't going to listen. What do we do?" I said, looking at Hermione.

"Devil's Snare... Now I remember! It hates light!" she exclaimed, pulling out her wand. "Lumos maximo!" A bright light erupted from the tip of Hermione's wand, and seconds later, Ron fell through.

"Why didn't you listen?" I asked, as we walked into the next room.

"To what?" Ron asked. I smacked my forehead.

"It's like some sort of huge puzzle leading to the stone..." Hermione said.

We arrived into a room full of flying keys. There was a door at the other end of the room. I ran over to it, and tried to pull it open. It didn't work.
