I was having such an amazing time with Noah and our friends. The music was on point, and Lily and I couldn't help but dance in our seats a few times.

But soon my man wanted to go on the dancefloor. He led me down the steps away from VIP, and my excitement couldn't be hidden on my face.

Noah looked so good, and although I was no longer in heat, I still craved him being inside of me again. Finally, giving myself to him was amazing, and I have no regrets.

We stopped in the middle of the crowd while the next song transitioned from the last. The main lights dimmed, then strobe laser lights roamed the dancefloor reflecting on the dancing bodies.

This song made me think of my mother. It was one of her favorites, and I couldn't help but smile.

He held me close with my back against his front. The music merged with our bodies' rhythmic movements. My head leaned back with his lips pressed against my neck...it felt so nice.

I was singing along with my eyes closed, enjoying Noah's scent. Then, a purple flutter of light flashes underneath my eyelids. I feel his lips move away from my neck.

My eyes open, and I look at Noah to see him looking in the distance. I grabbed this hand to bring his focus to me.

"Baby, you go to the bar. I'll meet you after I come back from the restroom."

I smiled. "Okay."

His words were obeyed, but something still didn't feel right. My guard was up, and when I got to the bar, Noah was leaving with three men.

Where are you going?

He didn't reply to me, now I was worried. Before I could follow them, the lights went out, causing screams and people running toward the front entrance.

This was the last thing I expected to happen. I panicked while looking around. My vision slowly adjusted to the activated generator lights.

I could see people falling and knocking each other over. My eyes looked towards the front exit. It looked far away, and when I tried to move forward, a man bumped me into the bar top.

"Aah!"

I yelped, then began to cry from the pain of my body hitting the hard edge.

Looking around again, I saw Akim and Darnell coming towards me.

"Nova!"

"These guys took Noah! They took him!"

My tears continued to fall while they guided me out of the club towards the back exit. Once Lily saw me, she got out of Akim's car and hurried towards my direction.

"Are you okay?"

We hugged, and I told her I was fine. Akim said some words to Darnell, then put his focus on us.

"Both of you go to my place, and I'll call when we get more on who took Noah."

"But I want to help find him."

"I'm not letting you come with us, Nova."

"Noah would beat our asses." Darnell chimed in.

I decided not to push back and left the club with Lily and Darnell's friend. We dropped her off, then went to Akim's like we were told.

My mind continued to link with my mate but still didn't get any response. I know Noah is tough, but my fear of harm coming to him was slowly taking over.
