I stood in the tomb, waiting to see my mother. They told me she was here and I believed them since they had her phone.

This bitch Izdra is really working my last nerve. I need to know what is the reason for her obsession with my mother.

"Are you related to Myra or something?" Lily asked.

"Your mother? No."

"Then why do you keep harassing mine?"

"I'm actually not concerned with your mother, Nova."

"Then what is it?"

Another voice came into the room.

My eyes widened as my stomach dropped. It was Noah's ex, Belle. I thought she got the hint and went back to her pack. I guess I was wrong.

"There was no other way to get to you. Noah's always coming to your rescue and your friend over there...."

Her eyes went to Lily, and with the rise of Izdra's hand, Lily flew into the brick wall behind us.

"NO!" I screamed at my friend's limp body falling to the ground.

Belle giggled. "Thanks Auntie."

Izdra smiled, and I felt sick.

"All I wanted was my mate back. You just wouldn't give up and leave him alone."

"Noah is my destined mate. We're always going to be drawn to each other."

"Don't talk like you're special. Noah can move on just like I did with my supposed destined mate."

"There's nothing you can do to break our bond."

"There is...You need to reject him."

I shook my head. "You're insane."

"You took my dream away from me! Noah and I used to be in love. But then I made a mistake and left with someone else."

Belle had tears in her eyes.

"He was a terrible man and abused me every chance he got. I was living a nightmare every day of my life. I never should have left my town."

Her eyes focused on me.

"I was finally able to get away from my abuser. When I came back home, the first person I wanted to see was my first and forever love."

Izdra smiled at her words. All I felt was annoyance.

"Did you know that we were each other's first everything? First date, love, kiss, fuck...."

A smirk was now on Belle's face.

"I don't care. Where is my mother?"

"She's around. But I'm not letting her go until I take care of you."

I could feel the electricity of my power flow through my body. This meetup was about to get violent. I grit my teeth.

"And how will you do that?"

"Like this."

Izdra words were heard, and I felt a shock go through my body. The pain was excruciating as I fell to my knees.

My anger increased, and now I want blood.

My voice echoed through the tomb and Belle's body convulsed. I placed a shield around myself.

"Shit, she blocked my powers!" Izdra yelled.

"AAAAAHHHH!!!!!" Belle screamed in pain.

The purple electric current swirled around her body, but I felt myself getting weaker as time went by.
