The party was extremely packed tonight, in fact way more packed than usual. The music is blasting and making the floor rumble with how extreme the bass is.

People are drunk, high, and screaming their heads off. The lights are extremely bright and strobing different colors.

Jake is seated in the back corner. His eyes are scanning the party as he is shaking a bit. Trying to find Johnnie but the crowd was so packed that he couldn't make out the emo in the crowd.

Johnnie pushed his way through the crowd, searching for Jake. He eventually spotted him in the corner, looking anxious.

Johnnie quickly made his way over to him and sat down next to him."Dude, you okay? You look like you're about to pass out."

"Oh, I'm fine dude" Jake replied as he loosely crossed his arms over his chest. Looking around at the party. His eyes are squinted a bit from the bright and flashy colors. He felt nauseated and his head was in pain from the loud environment.

Johnnie gave him a skeptical look, clearly not buying his 'fine' act. He put a hand on Jake's shoulder, feeling the tension in his body."Bullshit. You look like you're about to hurl."

"No, no, it's okay" Jake replied as a few of their friends came over. Screaming and obviously drunk from the socializing event.

Their friends sat down around them, continuing to scream and laugh. Tara looked at Jake and raised an eyebrow. Tara said, "Jake, you don't look so good. Are you sure you're okay?"

Jake nodded towards Tara and watches as she walked off, she got distracted and ran off to see some new friend's that entered the loud party.

Johnnie watched as Tara walked off and then looked back at Jake. He leaned in a bit closer, speaking so only Jake could hear him."Seriously, you look like you're about to pass out. Let's get you some fresh air."

Their friends didn't seem to notice anything wrong with Jake, too caught up in their own conversations and having a good time. They were all pretty drunk and didn't really notice the way Jake was feeling.

As the conversation continued, one of their friends, JC, suddenly turned to Jake and asked him a question. Jake was only half paying attention and didn't catch the question.

He just nodded along with whatever was being said, trying to seem like he was participating in the conversation.

The rest of the drunk group went off to go mingle and party some more.

Jake is bouncing his leg and keeping his arms firmly around himself.

Johnnie watched as the rest of their friends dispersed into the crowd, leaving him and Jake alone in the corner.

He could tell that Jake was still struggling, his bouncing leg and closed-off body language a clear indication of his discomfort.

Johnnie leaned closer to Jake, keeping his voice low."You wanna get out of here? We can find somewhere quieter."

"No, it's okay" Jake dismissed it, but he didn't feel so good. Everything is overlapping, heightened and overwhelming. His forehead slicked with sweat suddenly as the light's strobed again to the beat that the music was playing.

Johnnie frowned, seeing the sweat on Jake's forehead. He could tell that he was struggling to keep it together.

The lights and the music were clearly getting to Jake."Dude, you're not okay. You're literally sweating. Let's just go somewhere else."
