"Hey Jake!" Johnnie greeted as he sits on the curb. Watching as the other teenager (Jake) takes a seat down next to him.

Jake sat down, scooting closer to Johnnie and wrapping an arm around his shoulders“What’re you doing out here?”

"I know it was late but i wanted to come out to the park and see you" Johnnie replied. Tucking up his knees and resting his head on them.

Jake chuckled a bit and moved his hand to mess up Johnnie’s hair, his fingers running through the other boys messy locks“It’s past midnight, you’re gonna get in trouble yknow…”

"Yeah? Same to you" Johnnie laughed as he playfully shoves Jake. "I know its late but i really want to tell you something. That's why i sneaked out and told you by your window To come meet me here earlier"

Jake laughed as well and ruffled Johnnie’s hair some more

“I know I know.. but still. If we get caught it’ll be both our asses on the line”he said, his tone turning a bit serious but not for long as he chuckled again“And what do you wanna tell me Johnnie?"

"Well, its kinda personal." Johnnie began as he sighed. He lifted his head up. "You know how my dad died a few years ago?"

Jake nodded, wrapping his other arm around Johnnie and pulling him closer“Yeah.. I remember..”

"Yeah um." Johnnie cleared his throat and rubbed his arms. Before he zipped up his jacket. "Fuck its freezing." He suddenly changed the subject.

Jake chuckled a bit and held him close, gently rubbing his arm to try and warm him up a bit“You’re such a pussy when it comes to cold..”

"Yeah? And you're a pussy to the hot" Johnnie stuck his tongue out and laughed.

Jake gasped dramatically and shoved Johnnie gently, laughing along with him.
“Hey!! Watch it you little prick..”

"Kiss my ass" Johnnie sarcastically replied before he laid his head on his knees.

Jake smirked and quickly moved to straddle Johnnie, pinning him down on the grass.“Maybe I will..”

"YOU'RE WEIRD!" Johnnie laughed as he landed on the grass. A genuine smile across his face. He hasn't been this happy in a long time.

Jake laughed as well, pinning Johnnie’s wrists to the ground above his head.“Oh shush.. you love me"

Johnnie sticks his tongue out before he sits back up. He smiled for a moment before it faded.

Jake tilted his head, noticing the change in Johnnie’s expression.“You okay..?”

"Um sure yeah" Johnnie nodded. Scratching the back of his head and clearing his throat. "Just that thing i have to tell you has been on my mind"

Jake raised an eyebrow and slowly let go of Johnnie’s wrists, his expression becoming more serious as he moved to sit down next to him again“Then tell me baby..”

"Um," Johnnie sighed. "Due to mental health reasons I've been in and out of uh psych wards lately."

Jake’s expression turned to shock as he looked at Johnnie. He placed a hand on his shoulder gently, squeezing it gently.“Baby.. why didn’t you tell me?”
