A few weeks go by and Today Jake wanted to come out to there friend's. But he knows he has to talk to Johnnie about it.

He walked over to Johnnie - who is standing in the kitchen - and hugged him from behind. "Hey, baby. Can we talk?"

Johnnie smiled as he felt Jake's arms wrap around him from behind. He turned around to face him, a curious expression on his face."Of course, sweetheart. What do you want to talk about?"

"I was thinking of inviting Tara over today," Jake brought up as he ran a hand through Johnnie's emo bangs. "So we can come forward and tell Carrington and her that we're dating."

Johnnie's heart skipped a beat at Jake's suggestion. He had been thinking about telling their friends about their relationship too, but he hadn't quite found the right time yet.

"Really? You want to tell them today?" Johnnie asked, a mix of excitement and nervousness in his voice.

"Yeah. Carrington texted me and told me he's on his way back home from a dentist appointment and I can shoot Tara a text to see if she wants to come over and hangout." Jake replied. "It's been a few weeks and it's been kinda hard to hide us dating you know since Carrington is our roommate and all."

Johnnie nodded in agreement, understanding the difficulty of keeping their relationship a secret from Carrington.

"Yeah, I know. It's been tough, but I think it's time we tell them. We can't keep hiding forever." Johnnie smiled and took Jake's hand in his."I'm nervous, but I'm also excited. I'm ready to tell them about us."

Jake's brown eyes softened the moment Johnnie held his hand. "Me too. They're our friend's.. so they should support us. Right?" He asked. Not knowing that Johnnie went to Tara for advice to get with him in the first place.

Johnnie nodded, trying to ignore the pang of guilt that he felt.

"Yeah, they should. And if they don't, then they're not really our friends, are they?" Johnnie squeezed Jake's hand gently, trying to reassure him. "I have a good feeling about this. I think they'll be happy for us."

"Well I'm gonna be super upset if they're not," Jake let's go of Johnnie's hand and sits at the kitchen table. Taking his phone out and texting Tara.

Johnnie chuckled and sat down next to Jake, watching him text Tara.

"Don't worry, babe. I'm sure they'll be happy for us. And if they're not, I'll deal with them. You don't have to worry about anything." Johnnie wrapped an arm around Jake's shoulder and pulled him close.

Jake laughs a bit, "You'll – deal with– hahhaha– Alright then," as he sent the quick invite message to Tara and she said she was on her way.

Johnnie smiled and playfully nudged Jake.
"Hey, I can be tough when I need to be. Don't underestimate me." He teased, his eyes sparkling with amusement.

"Mmm, okay" Jake smiled as he tilted his head back and his eyes sparkled with love. "Do you want to tell them separately or do you want to tell them at the same time?"

Johnnie thought for a moment before replying.

"Let's tell them together. It'll be easier that way, and we can get it over with all at once."He said, giving Jake a reassuring smile.

"Right," Jake heard the front door open and Carrington came home. "I'm back from the dentist!!!" Carrington called as he shut the door.

Jake called back, "Johnnie and I are in the kitchen!" Carrington walks into the kitchen. "Hii, what's up?" He greeted.
