[ Johnnie goes to Tara for advice since he has a crush on Jake and wants advice to help confess to Jake and Tara gives him advice to do so :) ]

Tara is at Jake and Johnnie's house today. Jake left to go stream at the local 7-eleven with Carrington so Johnnie and Tara are home alone.

Johnnie really needed advice. And this was the perfect opportunity. He was alone and with Tara. Jake's ex-girlfriend.

Johnnie has a crush on Jake and needs help and/or advice from Tara to help get with him.

He knows Tara moved on from Jake by now, since they have been broken up for over a year and decided to bring it up to her.

"Hey Tara. Can we talk?"

Tara was in the living room, scrolling through her phone. She looks up at Johnnie and smiles."Yeah, sure. What's up?"

Johnnie sits down next to her, looking a little nervous. He takes a deep breath before speaking."I need your help with something... it's kind of personal."

Tara clicks her phone off. She gasped, "Tell me!" She exclaimed as she placed her phone into her pocket. Tucking her legs up and sitting criss cross apple-sauce on the couch.

Johnnie chuckled a little at her reaction, then sighed and looked down at his hands.
"Okay, so... I have a crush on someone."

Tara immediately squealed, "AHHH!!! who?!!!!" As her eyes are sparkling with surprise and curiosity.

Johnnie chuckled again, a bit embarrassed by her excitement. He scratched the back of his head, avoiding eye contact."It's... uh... Jake. I have a crush on Jake."

Tara's mouth dropped. She blinked a few times before she said, "Really?! Oh. My. God."

Johnnie nodded, still avoiding eye contact. He looked flustered and embarrassed.
"Yeah... I know it's weird since he's my best friend and all, but I can't help it. I've been crushing on him for a while now, but I don't know what to do about it. That's why I need your help."

"Heyyy, it's not weird! Trust me, he's hot" Tara laughed. "But let me guess. You want me to help ya get with the one and only Jake Webber?"

Johnnie finally looked up at her, his face turning slightly red."Yeah... I mean, I don't know if it's possible or not, but I really like him and I want to give it a shot. And since you're his ex-girlfriend, I thought you might have some insight on how to get his attention and make him like me back."

Tara laughs loudly and calmed herself after a min. "Jesus Christ Johnnie! You really suck at this sort of thing huh?" she teased. "I'm playing. Ok but in all seriousness. I think Jake already does like you. It's kinda obvious. But also, Jake is oblivious when it comes to that shit. You have to be so fucking direct for that man to realize what is going on. He likes the confidence. I've noticed that," Tara laughed and flipped her hair. "Anyway,-"

Johnnie listened intently to Tara's advice, his heart racing a bit at the thought of Jake liking him back. He chuckled at her comment about Jake being oblivious and nodded.

"Yeah, I've noticed that too. He's always so focused on his streams and stuff, it's hard to tell if he's interested in someone or not. But I guess I have to be direct, huh? That's easier said than done, though." Johnnie replied.

Tara nodded, "Oh that too. He does like to just be himself too. He doesn't like - want to change himself for anyone. But i think you know that already. You've been his fucking best friend for like two years now. Damn!" She blinked in surprise. "But yeah, to get with Mr.Webber is honestly like as cliche as this shit is but like be yourself, be bold, be you and like subtle hints don't really work on him. He also doesn't like the whole flirty touchy thing, that makes him back off and uncomfy"
