"Babe! You ready?!" Jake called from downstairs. Cupping his hands over his mouth to enhance the sound.

Johnnie, hearing Jake's voice from downstairs, turns around and calls back.
"Yea! I'm coming! Give me a minute!"

"C'mon! You know I don't like being behind schedule!" Jake called back as he is heading up the stairs now.

Johnnie rolls his eyes as Jake comes upstairs and walks over to him."You're such a pain in the ass."

Jake smirks and puts his arm around Johnnie's shoulders."You know you love me."

Johnnie laughs and shoves Jake away playfully, pretending to be annoyed."Whatever."

Jake kisses Johnnie's cheek. Taking his hand as the couple walk down the stairs. "C'mon, we're going to the beach today!"

Johnnie blushes a little when Jake kisses his cheek, but he smiles and squeezes his hand."The beach? Really? Isn't it gonna be crowded today?"

Jake squints his eyes at the thought of crowds. "Uhhh.... no i don't think so. I hope not." He said as he grabbed the 'beach bag' he packed downstairs.

Johnnie chuckled at Jake's attempt to reassure himself about the crowds.
"Sure, whatever you say. Just don't get too overwhelmed when we get there."

"Hey, you don't like crowded places either. But it'll be fun, baby!" Jake beamed as he opened the door. Ushering Johnnie out and they head to the car.

Johnnie couldn't help but smile at Jake's excitement, even though he was a little worried about the crowds.

"Yeah, I guess you're right. But if it gets too crowded, I'm dragging you away from the beach." Johnnie replied.

"Deal and i will do the same!" Jake stuck his tongue out. He opened the passenger door for Johnnie. "In the bag i got us some sandbuckets to we can make a sandcastle!!" He squealed as he entered the driver's.

Johnnie laughed and got into the passenger seat, amused by Jake's excitement."A sandcastle, really? Are we 5 years old again?"

Jake got up into his emo boyfriend's face. "Its fun." He said and pecked Johnnie's lips. Before he leaned back and chucked the beach bag in the backseat.

Johnnie playfully pushed Jake away, rolling his eyes. "whatever babe, sure"
He smiled and fastened his seatbelt.

Jake starts the car and starts to drive to the location of the beach. "Its hot outside today."

Johnnie nods in agreement, already feeling the heat through the car windows.
"Yeah, it's gonna be a scorcher. Make sure you put on plenty of sunscreen, okay? Don't want you getting burnt and whining about it all day."

Jake turns on the car's A/C unit. To keep the car cooled down. He stops at the red light. "i brought it dont worryy"

Johnnie nods again, relieved that Jake remembered to bring sunscreen."Good. We don't want you looking like a lobster. I'm not gonna take care of you if you get a sunburn."
He teased, a playful smile on his face.

"Says the emo pale ass vampire that is wearing all black to the fucking beach!" Jake laughs.

Johnnie huffs, pretending to be offended by Jake's comment."Excuse me? I look fabulous in all black. You're just jealous that you can't pull it off like I can."
