Travis' POV

"Baby girl?" I asked a little while later as Taylor and I lay in tangled white sheets, our clothes thrown to the corner of our bedroom, the door firmly closed. She lay on her back in the crook of my shoulder, stroking her fingers through mine again and again.

"Mhm?" She hummed.

"Were we just having sex so you could prove to Lila that I was completely yours?" Taylor was silent. I knew the answer. "Baby girl." I sighed, kissing her shoulder. "Baby girl you know you're the only one for me. I know we include other people sometimes but you're the only one in my heart. You know that."

"Mhm."

"Please tell me you know that." I propped myself up so I could see her face better, but Taylor wasn't meeting my gaze. "Baby girl." I nudged her.

"Mhm."

"Hey." I rolled Taylor over and moved her chin so that she had to look at me. "Baby girl, you are my wife." I touched her wedding ring. "There isn't anything we can't push past but you have to talk to me."

"I'd rather not talk.' Taylor stretched up to kiss me, slipping a hand around to the back of my neck.

"And I rather would." I gently pushed her down. "I'm worried about you baby girl. You're shutting down on me."

"I'm fine."

"You're not fine."

"Yes I am!" Taylor snapped. "Travis, you can't expect me to be all peachy and happy and wait on this woman night and day just because you knocked her up! I'm not blaming you and I know this is the right thing but just let me be upset that our situation is changing okay?" She pushed me off her and I moved back since I'd never keep her trapped if she didn't want to be. "I just need some time okay, I'm going to my studio."

"Okay baby girl." I sighed, knowing she needed to be alone. "Just come and get me if you need anything. I love you."

"I love you too." Taylor mumbled as she shoved some clothes on, and I watched as she left the room.

Sighing to myself, I flopped down onto my back and stared up at the ceiling. God, in a week things had gone from amazing to flat and it was all because of me. Lila had told me she was on birth control, and maybe she had been, but for some reason she was now carrying my baby. And I already loved the baby so damn much, but a part of me was hurt that it wasn't Taylor who's stomach was slowly swelling with life. It didn't feel entirely right that Taylor wasn't the one getting the scans, everything that came with pregnancy.

Deciding to wait for Taylor to come back to bed, I rolled over and closed my eyes. I drifted in and out of sleep for a while, and eventually I felt the bed dip as my wife returned. Half asleep, I reached out for her. Her fingers touched mine, stroked up my arm, and I felt the warmth of her body move close before her lips touched mine.

But immediately, I knew it wasn't Taylor and my eyes flew open. I knew Taylor's kisses better than I knew my own mind, and within a second I could tell that it wasn't her in bed with me. And sure enough, Lila was the one smiling down at me. I jolted back.

"Lila what the fuck?" I stared at her.

"Hi." She smiled, and I pushed her hand away when she tried to touch my cheek.

"What the hell are you doing in here?" I pulled the sheets up to cover my naked body. She'd seen me before, but this was different.

"I couldn't sleep in my room." Lila shrugged. "Thought I'd come and stay with you."

"Yeah, but Lila you can't do that." I told her. "We're not together or anything. Sure we had sex a few times but that was something I did with Taylor, and that's never going to happen again. You need to stop with this or we'll have to find you another place to stay."
