April's POV
I was on patrol with the guys, trying to keep up, and with Donnie running beside me so I wasn't left behind. He is so sweet. All of a sudden, Leo stopped all of us and pointed at one of the rooftops near us. "It's the Foot.", Raph pointed out.
We started to get our weapons out when Leo held me back for a second. He whispered, "I don't know exactly what's going on so use this if you need to." Leo then handed me one of Donnie's smoke bombs.
"How did you get this?"
"I took it out of Donnie's lab."
"Oh okay"
Then we caught up with the others who were already fighting. When we were closed to done, about a dozen Foot along with Bebop and Rocksteady came. "April!", Donnie called out sounding worried. I only smiled. I didn't know why he was so worried until I was knocked to the ground. Head throbbing, I looked up to see Karai above ready to strike me with her venom. I braced myself waiting for the impact that never came. I looked up confused and saw Donnie fighting Karai. I heard Donnie call out my name again and I turned around to see Rocksteady and that was all that I remember before my vision went dark.
