The Casey

Donnie's POV

I woke up with a start. There was crash coming from outside. As I carefully got up, my door slammed open. There ,of course, was the infamous Casey Jones.

"Really Don?"

"What?"

"Why is my girl in here? With you?"

"Your girl? She doesn't belong to you."

Just as I said that April shifted in her sleep. But didn't wake, thankfully.

"Come on ,Casey. Let's move this to the dojo so we won't wake anyone."

Casey was still rambling on and on as I dragged him into the dojo.

April's POV

I woke up and I realized that Donnie was gone. 'He probably got up to train more.' I got up and grabbed my shorts and a tank top that Donnie got for me from my room, since I haven't gone to my room recently.

As I walked into the dojo I saw Donnie and Casey. 'Why the heck is Casey here?'

"Hey guys, what's going on?"

"Finally, you're up. Now you can tell me why you were in his room.", Casey said.

"I've done told you, Casey. She likes me.", Donnie replied. I could tell he was frustrated.

"She doesn't like you."

Donnie was about to say something when I interrupted him, "No, Donnie. Casey's right. I don't like you." Casey flashed a victorious smile while Donnie looked seriously hurt by those words. But I continued. "I love you."

Casey's smile vanished as Donnie was the victorious one. Casey looked as he would explode as he tried to attack Donnie.

But he didn't because I knocked Donnie to the side and Casey hit me instead. Everything felt fuzzy. I expected Casey to say 'Sorry' repeatedly as he usually does, but he kept going until Donnie tackled him.

Everything after that was a blur.

Donnie's POV

As much as I wanted to hurt Casey, I had to help April.

April was finally waking. "God my head hurts."

"Yeah, Casey did hit it a couple times.", I replied as I reached for a pain killer.

"Why the pain killers?"

"You said your head was hurting." 'Did I hear her wrong? How could I hear her wrong? I've practically memorized everything she has ever said to me.'

"Oh yeah."

"Oh, here take these." I handed her two pain killers and a Sprite.

"Thanks."

Then there was a knock on the lab door. The door cracked open as Casey's head poked in. I jumped up ready to do anything to protect my little chinchilla, but she grabbed my hand and as I looked at her she gave me a weak smile. "It's okay."

"What do you want Casey?", I asked sounding a little violent.

"I just wanted to say I'm sorry for attacking you then taking my anger out on April."

"Leo told you to say that didn't he?"

"He's right behind me."

I gave a small smile to Casey knowing that April had already forgiven him. If April could forgive him, then so could I.

And with that one gesture Casey left and Leo took his place.

"Hey ,Donnie. You need to come train. And April can too if she feels like it."

"Okay, what do you say April?"

"Sure."
