Chloe's pov

The past week had been amazing, back to school also meant back to routine.

This year I'm trying my hardest, I want to get back on top of the class again, be the straight A student I was born to be. Without the pressure, I wanted to do it in a healthy way this time.

I was sitting in our dorm, studying as usual with Dragonfly by my feet when Red came storming in, with a bright smile on her face.

- Hi baby, what makes you so happy this Friday? I sarcastically giggle say as I lean down to pet Flyfly a little.

- Oh, uhm nothing, just had a good day! She smiles as she walked over to the bed and placed her school material on the table beside.

- Mhmm, did Zack accidentally like Ryan's ex photo on instagram again? I asked, still going with the sarcasm as I tried to look back at my homework.

- No I wasn't with Zack actually, we ended up having no classes together on Fridays.

That sentence of hers made me raise a brow and turn around in the chair and look at her.

- Uhm, well who were you with? You only hang out with like me and Zack, maybe Ryan but then it has to be something important. Is your mom here? Or did you talk to her on FaceTime? Did the teacher magically get the idea to hand out free chocolate and Pepsi max? I yap, giving her no time to answer.

I giggle a little after my talk, only to be frozen by her answer.

- Well I was with Gabby, she's in my business class.. She answers, almost like she's a little afraid of getting the letters out.

I think for a second, not remembering a person we know named Gabby.

- Who's 'Gabby' - do I know her? I ask, feeling some kind of unease about it.

- Well.. - Red hesitates.

I look at her confused to get her to continue.

- She's the girl I ran in to at the principals talk.

I think for a second..

- Oh right, you mean 'Gabriella' that girl you're in love with, I giggle, feeling a little better since that whole scene was a good joke to get Red uncomfortable.

- Well yeah, that's her, Red awkwardly laugh.

- Why do you call her 'Gabby'- are you already that tight? I playfully smirk as I turn around to my computer again.

- Well she asked me to show her around campus, Red answered like it was the most normal thing in the world.

- Oh, so she has a crush on you and wants you to show her around, AND she made you this happy? Wow! I'm replaced! I say as I roll my eyes, yet again sarcastically.

But Red didn't get that part.

- Chloe I won't show her around if you're uncomfortable! I- I- Y- You could come if you want to? She's really nice! You'll like her, Zack too I think! What do you say? She nervously stammered.

Now that's what made me suspicious.

- Red, calm down, I don't mind! Why do you get all worked up about this, I was just kidding. I'm glad you made a friend, besides she's what? Two years younger? She idolizes you! I state, turning around to look at Red again, whom looks very afraid.
