Reds pov

Chloe and I where so confused, we looked at each other thinking our moms where in a big fight. But suddenly mom jumped right out of bed and ran into Chloe's mom's arms.

- It's been what? 20 years? She almost cried.
- No, but about 17 maybe? Chloe's mom Ella answered, holding mom in her embrace.

Chloe and I looked at each other, both equally as shocked. I stepped forward,
-Wait, you guys know each other?

- Yea honey, Ella and I went here at the same time, we were roommates too! Omg Chloe I didn't know Ella was your mother! Bridget shouted happily.

Chloe and I were in shock mode.

Bridget spoke up again, talking to Ella
- Omg do you know these too cuties are officially girlfriends?

-Wait what? Chloe? Ella said, looking at her.
-Uh, eh, yeah, Chloe answered confused, looking at me.

- That's wonderful! So wonderful! Oh I'm so happy, Ella said hugging Chloe.
- It really is wonderful, I couldn't ask for a better "in laws" family! Bridget said, walking over to me.

- Why don't we all go out to dinner tonight and celebrate? Ella said, holding her hands on Chloe's shoulders.
- Oh yes please, can't we go to that restaurant in town, you know the one we always went to? Bridget asked Ella.

Ella started laughing,
- Yeah, where you met Thomas and embarrassed yourself with the tequila shots?

I felt mom burst into laughter,
- Oh my gosh, I almost forgot about that!

I stepped forward, grabbing Chloe while they talked.
- Well me and Chloe are going for some breakfast, you guys pack up and catch up! See you later.
- Have fun! Mom yelled, and turned to Ella laughing again.

I closed the door after me and Chloe,
- What the hell? I breathed out.
- Yeah, I'm as confused as you! They were roommates? Best friends? Chloe asked.
- It seems like it, I said, taking her hand.
"Come on, let's get something to eat Chlo"

Chloe and I went to the school cafeteria, we bought us some breakfast and sat down. I took one bite of my sandwich, then I felt full. I just stared at it, and couldn't get myself to eat anymore.

Out of nowhere, I felt like I couldn't breathe. The anxiety just flooded through my veins. I felt like I was tripping down the hole I so desperately tried to run away from. Just like that.

Chloe noticed, and looked at me with big eyes.
- You're not gonna eat that love? She asked, while taking another bite from her own sandwich.
- Yeah, no, I'm full. I said.
- Already? You took like one bite, are you okay? She said, taking my hand across the table.

- Yeah, I'm fine, I'm just not that hungry.
- Oh okay, Chloe said.

She also packed down my almost full sandwich and took it with her to our dorm, thinking I would eat it later.

When we came back, our mothers were still in deep conversations. They almost didn't notice us coming back.

- Oh hey girls, Ella said.
- Hi, we said in union.
- Bridget and I were thinking of grabbing a coffee, wanna come with us?
- No, where good, we just ate, I said, plopping down on my bed.

Chloe looked at me confused, she was probably down for some coffee, but I wasn't after breakfast.

- Oh, no, yeah right. Where good here, thanks mom! Chloe said, walking over to my bed.
