Chapter 48. "What the hell happened to Uma?"

Reds pov

I stood outside the college, smelling the fresh Auradon air. It was slowly turning into fall, which meant that our last school year was on its way. Both new students and old ones made their way over campus, and I just stood there, taking it all in.

Thinking back to my first day, walking inside with mom, getting signed into room 2 with Chloe. Thinking I was straight, but getting more and more nervous around Chloe. That party where I met Rob, and then going on a date with him. It was all surreal. All that happened just two years ago. I was a completely different person now, stepping into my last year.

Today was the first day back, and all students where asked to get outside to hear the principal's speech, welcoming everyone back. Me and Chloe were already done settling in, even Flyfly was happy to be back.

I looked around me, Auradon College was really pretty, all the golden details around campus and a lot of great art and statues. I loved it. It also felt so peaceful now, knowing no one could hurt us anymore.

Chloe creeped up behind me, sliding her hand into mine. She smiled, and kissed my cheek.
- Shall we go to the principals talk? Zack and Ryan's gonna meet us there! She says, her brown eyes sparkling in the sunlight.
- Yeah baby, let's go.

We found our sits in the front beside Zack and Ryan, it was so good to see them again. I squeezed Zack long and hard into a hug, smelling his perfume, feeling his warm embrace radiate towards me. I really missed him.

Suddenly someone walked out on the stage in front of us. A middle aged woman, with short brown hair holding on to a microphone. Everyone just went silent as soon as she started talking.
- Hi Auradon Prep College! I'm Annica, your new principal.

-W- What? I heard Chloe say beside me, making me turn my head towards her in confusion.

- Did you guys know about this? I ask Zack and Ryan, that both shook their heads.

- Uhm, you guys here in the front, you with the brown long curly hair and you with the red strands of hair, you need to shut up! I'm talking! Annica rudely said. Making all four of us rise a brow.

- Well I'm happy to be here, and guys have a lovely new school year! Welcome, she finally said as everyone applauds.

After the little ceremony all four of us stood up to get out when I accidentally tripped and fell into a brown haired girl with blonde highlights in her hair.
- Oh- I'm so sorry- I started,
- Oh, no girl it's totally fine, it was my fault! Sorry! The girl said, facing me.

This girl looked just like a Victoria secret model, what did she do here at Auradon prep?

- It's all cool, you new? I ask.
- Yeah, my first year! I'm Gabriella! She says, shining up like the sun as she shakes my hand.
- I'm Red-
- I KNOW! She bursts out.
- Y- You know? I ask confused.
- Well, I've been crushing on you like forever! She states, looking at me with heart eyes.
- Uhmm.. H- How did you know who I was? I asked getting more and more confused by every second.

- Well, I was visiting College last year and saw you on campus and I stalked your insta... And yeah, you've been my girl crush ever since... She blushed, looking up at me.

- Oh, well-

Suddenly a pair of arms wrapped around me from behind.
- Hi baby, Chloe said, kissing my cheek.

- And that must be your girlfriend Chloe...

We both look confused at Gabriela.
- How did- I start.
- She's all over your insta, she laughs, as she takes her things and walk away.
- What did that girl want? Chloe scoffs.
- I really don't know, she seemed creepy, I whispered.
- You thought she was pretty, didn't you? Chloe asks all serious.
- Wh- Wha- Chloe? NO! I panic.
- Not so convincing Red, she says as she lets go of me and walks away towards Zack and Ryan that are waiting for us.
