XANDER WATCHED WITH WIDE EYES AS HAYLEY THREW HER DRINK INTO EDWARD'S FACE. Her face was shrouded with a look of hatred, and her jaw was clenched tight. He could hear Rosalie's soft snicker to his left and Alice's gasp from behind him at what had just occurred, at the bravery this human had performed.
"You stay the fuck away from my sister. And if you ever treat her like that again, I will kill you." His mate hissed before she turned to stomp away. And then she turned back, her eyes locking with Xander's, and he could only stand there like a wide-eyed idiot. "I'll see you later, Xander. Call me when you get the chance." She smiled before she walked away, hips swaying and a bounce in her step as she drew closer to Isabella.
