HAYLEY COULDN'T RECALL THE RIDE BACK TO HER HOUSE, BUT SHE DID REMEMBER XANDER MAKING SURE TO PLACE HER IN FRONT OF HIM; TO KEEP HER IN A MORE SECURE SPOT. One of his arms was wrapped around her middle, while the other steered the bike in between the trees and along the dirt path that followed through the forest. Edward and Bella were in the jeep behind them, headlights lighting up the trails like the Fourth of July. And then the main road came into view, and Xander sped towards the Cullen house.
As soon as they pulled into the open garage, the rest of the Cullens, minus Edward, were waiting. Xander wasted no time pulling into a spot beside the cars and pulled his helmet off while Hayley did the same.
