NEEDLESS TO SAY, WHEN XANDER GOT THE NEWS ABOUT HAYLEY, HE WENT BALLISTIC. He had been in the car with Emmett, Carlisle, and Edward when Alice had called to tell them both Hayley and Bella were gone; Bella having left herself and Hayley being taken. If it hadn't been for Emmett restraining him, he would have caused his father to wreck the vehicle.
It had gotten to the point where Carlisle had pulled onto an abandoned road and stopped the car.
"You have got to calm down, Xander." The doctor said as his son jumped out of the vehicle, fully prepared to run the rest of the way. But Carlisle's hand landed on his shoulder before he could take off. "Hayley needs you to be calm."
