THE LAST THING HAYLEY EXPECTED XANDER TO TAKE HER WAS AN OLD HOUSE RIGHT ALONG THE COASTLINE. Her body was still shaking with sobs as he carried through the threshold of the building, not even bothering to knock. She was even more surprised when a confused and tired-looking Penny Dupree walked out of the kitchen in a nightgown, her long blonde hair flowing around her shoulders.
