HAYLEY SWAN LET OUT A CHEER AFTER SHE RECEIVED HER FINAL REPORT CARD. Graduation was less than a month away, and prom was right around the corner. Things had changed since the Cullens came back, and life was finally back to the way it needed to be. Well, some things.
The Cullen kids, besides Emmett and Rosalie, had re-enrolled in school, and just like before, Xander had nearly every class period with Hayley. Camden also enrolled, and he seemed to be enjoying himself. And Hayley could see that Xander was happy his best friend was staying with them on a more permanent basis.
Alice and Bella had tried to talk to Hayley about Italy, but the older Swan just blew them off. It was also clear that the Swan twins were still at odds, but no one dared say a word to Hayley. Well, besides Edward, Xander quickly put a stop to that. Hayley refused even to acknowledge the mind-reader and would often send him nasty glares and very colorful thoughts. It was safe to say Hayley Swan was not Edward's biggest fan.
