THE NIGHT OF SENIOR PROM, HAYLEY WAS BUBBLING WITH EXCITEMENT. This was the final dance, the final milestone before she would walk across the stage at graduation. Not to mention this was the first prom she would actually get to attend, seeing as how last time she was still recovering from James's attack.
Rosalie and Alice had helped her get ready that night, the two vampires putting in much time to make sure her hair was styled and her makeup was immaculate. Unfortunately, none of the other Cullen children, save for Camden and Xander, would be attending the dance.
Bella had been very firm on her opinion of not going. She already had to sit through one prom, and she did not feel like attending another.
