The rest of the previous day was uneventful. Apart from Curtis being grumpy, everything was fine.

The next morning, me and my family woke up by the sound of someone knocking on our door.

"Who the hell is it this early in the morning?" Leon mumbled under his breath, getting out of the bed and stretching for a good minute before going downstairs to answer the door. I decided to also get up and go see who it is.

"Whoever it is, tell them to go away. I'm sleeping" Curtis angrily said and went back to sleep.

While the rest of my males slept, I went along with Leon, and when he opened the door...

"Andromache! It's so good to see you again!"

There she was, right in front of me before hugging me tightly as if we were long lost siblings.

"Qingqing!" I said as I stabilised myself, putting a hand in front of my stomach to protect the cubs inside my belly.

"I am so happy to finally be back to the Beast City. How have you been?" She happily asked me before looking at me. More like looked at my stomach.

"You are pregnant?" She whisper-shouted before I could even get a word in.

"Hello Qingqing. I'm good, thanks. Yes, I'm pregnant. How are you?" Her questions have been answered one by one, me still trying to wake up.

Bai did not answer me. Instead, her gaze turned to Leon, looking at him from head to toe, at some point even blushing. "Who are you? I haven't seen you around her house before. Why are you here?"

"What are you talking about? That's my house, why wouldn't I be here?" He asked Bai, not expecting to be answering questions about why he is inside his own home this early in the morning, especially from someone who he hasn't ever seen before. "I'm Leon"

"Ah, so you are the new king. My father talked about you" A voice behind Qingqing said. I haven't even noticed that Parker was also here.

"You're Leon? Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you in your own home" Bai said, remembering that the last time she and Andromache met, Andromache mentioned that the new king is her mate.

"Bai, where have you been all this time? I haven't seen you in a long time" I asked her and her eyes suddenly seemed happy again.

"Parker and I decided that we should return to Camel Hump Valley for the winter. But now, we are searching for a house here to live permanently"

'Oh, how perfect... I'm so happy that she'll live here permanently that I could bang my head on the wall' I thought but on the outside I just congratulate her.

"What's all the commotion?" Shuu asked as he, Harvey and Winston came downstairs.

"Harvey?" Qingqing looked shocked to see him being in my house "What are you doing here?" Her tone made it sound like she was accusing him of something.

"Shouldn't I be where my female is?"

"You've mated with her?" She asked him in a tone that I didn't particularly like.

"Yes, he is mated to me. And the young man besides him? That's Shuu, he is also mated to me. I'm pretty sure that you remember Winston and Curtis- Wait, where is Curtis?"
