As the Lost wandered through Eldoria, they took in the sights, slowly adjusting to the surreal contrast between this new world and the one they'd left behind. When they neared the central square, a gleaming statue caught their attention. Intricately carved and towering above them, it exuded both elegance and mystique. At its base, several smaller shrines were adorned with delicate offerings: flowers, small trinkets, tokens of gratitude. The Lost gathered around, their eyes tracing the statue's lines and symbols with quiet awe.
Percy Weasley approached the group with a warm smile. "This," he began, nodding to the shrine, "is one of the many tributes to the Guardians."
"The Guardians?" asked one of the Lost, their brow furrowed.
"Yes," Percy replied, gesturing for the group to follow him along the pathway where each step revealed another piece of the world's enchanting design. "There are six of them, each representing a unique essence that protects and balances this realm. You'll find their influence all over Eldoria and the surrounding continents. The shrines you see around here—and across the land—honor these Guardians."
Some of the Lost exchanged glances, trying to process this revelation. A young witch, her face marked by curiosity, asked, "And people... they truly believe in these Guardians?"
"Not just believe," Percy answered, a note of respect in his voice. "They've seen their blessings in action. After the Guardians welcomed us, this world's magic became more potent, more harmonious. You'll see shrines across every continent, each one dedicated to a Guardian."
One wizard looked down at the offerings and mementos left by locals. "What do people leave here?" he asked, his voice soft.
"Different things," Percy said. "Some leave food, others symbols of protection, like small crafted figures. The Guardians don't demand gifts, but people feel moved to offer them, just as a gesture of gratitude."
The Lost looked around, and one by one, their faces softened, a sense of calm replacing the tension they'd carried with them.
Percy glanced at a nearby transport station, where enchanted carts waited. "If any of you wish, I can arrange for a tour of Eldoria's shrines. Each Guardian's shrine reflects their nature, and you'll find some are hidden in forest clearings, others along riverbanks or in mountain alcoves."
They nodded, intrigued and open to the idea.
