Draven's POV
As Draven and his pack arrived on Dreadspire, the energy of the continent was immediately palpable. Its mountains were towering, valleys rich and green, and dense forests pulsed with a wild, untamed magic that resonated with every member of the pack. They felt the land as if it were part of their very being, a fitting place to create a true sanctuary.
Draven took a deep breath, letting the scent of the forest and crisp mountain air fill his senses. His wolf, ever-present and more attuned since the blessings, was urging him forward, eager to explore the land that would be their new home.
"Alright, everyone," he called, gathering his council and leaders around him. "Let's start shaping this place."
Laying Out the Territory
Draven spread a hand-drawn map of Dreadspire on a large, flat rock. His closest leaders – the newly appointed Alphas, Betas, and other high-ranking wolves – gathered around, looking intently at the layout of their continent.
"This place here," Draven pointed to a large central region nestled between two rivers and shadowed by high mountains, "will be our capital, which we'll call Moonscar. This will be the heart of our land, where the High Alpha and High Luna reside and where all packs gather."
Rhea, his Beta and close confidant, nodded. "Moonscar will be a place of unity – a central territory where each pack can come without encroaching on another's land."
Draven continued, marking smaller circles around Moonscar. "Each pack will have its own territory surrounding the central capital, allowing for individual traditions and autonomy while maintaining loyalty to the High Pack."
"What about the Alpha hierarchy?" asked Talon, the Delta, with a curious tilt of his head. "Will each pack have its own Alpha and Luna?"
"Exactly," Draven replied. "Each pack will operate semi-independently with its own Alpha and Luna, but all Alphas will defer to the High Alpha and High Luna within Moonscar. This way, each pack can govern its own, but we all remain one family."
They all murmured in agreement, understanding the balance of freedom and unity this approach offered.
Pack Villages and Towns
Draven then pointed to areas outside of Moonscar for the various pack territories:
Ironwood Grove: A forested region northeast of Moonscar, designated for the Ironfang Pack, a strong and fiercely loyal group known for their skill in hunting.Silent Ridge: High along the mountain cliffs, perfect for the Shadowclaw Pack, who excel in stealth and tracking.Thunderfield Plain: A rolling plain to the south where the Stormhowl Pack would settle, well-suited for their speed and stamina.Stonefang Valley: A lush, river-crossed valley perfect for the Riverfang Pack, known for their tactical strength and wisdom.Darkpine Hollow: Deep in the densest forests for the Nightshade Pack, a close-knit group known for their herbal knowledge and bond with nature.
Each Alpha and Luna stepped forward as Draven assigned the lands, feeling a mixture of pride and excitement as they envisioned their new homes.
The Hierarchy of the Packlands
Once they mapped out the territories, Draven gathered the pack leaders to discuss the structure of the pack hierarchy.
"As High Alpha, I'll oversee all packs and their Alphas," he began, gesturing to Luna by his side. "And as High Luna, Luna will be the heart of our leadership, ensuring unity and peace among the packs."
