As the six-month mark since their arrival on Mirithis arrived, the leaders from every continent prepared to convene in Eldoria's capital for their semiannual meeting. Each leader, accompanied by their chosen assistant, set off on their respective transportation — many arriving in elaborate carriages, enchanted vessels, and even gliding airships. Isabell Star, leader of Brightmoor, arrived with her assistant, Justin Russo, in a shimmering carriage emblazoned with North American wizarding symbols. Not far behind, Harry Potter arrived in his own streamlined carriage, Draco Malfoy at his side.
They gathered in the grand Wizengamot Hall, its majestic circular chamber lit with enchanted chandeliers. As each leader found their seat at the central council table, murmurs of excitement and news filled the room, as this was the first chance for them all to exchange experiences of the new land.
Once the meeting commenced, Harry welcomed everyone and began by inviting each leader to share their progress.
One by one, they spoke, each leader summarizing the developments on their continents, the successes, the challenges, and the innovations their people had brought to Mirithis. Some announced the renaming of their continents, inspired by the unique magic and cultures that had taken root in each region. Maps were updated to reflect these names, and Justin Russo diligently recorded each one.
Finally, Supreme King Gringold, leader of Veilthron, stood. The goblin leader's presence was powerful and commanding, and when he opened one of the 26 trunks beside him, the council gasped at the sight — each trunk held a glittering cache of crystals, luminescent in shades of deep indigo, pale blue, and glowing gold.
"These are for you all," Gringold announced, his voice echoing with authority. "Veilthron's lands are filled with veins of crystal — far more than we need. This initial wealth will help each of you establish a stable currency and secure trade across Mirithis." He nodded, gesturing for each leader to take a trunk. "Consider this a beginning to our economic foundation."
A wave of gratitude filled the room as each leader accepted a trunk. The sheer wealth inside each trunk was astonishing; this generosity from Veilthron meant their continents could flourish without struggle or competition over resources.
Just as the council was about to close the discussion on finances, a sudden burst of white light appeared at the edge of the room. A swirling portal opened, revealing a group of wizards and witches stepping through. Their robes were ragged and faded, their faces showing exhaustion and confusion.
Everyone stood, shocked. Harry's eyes widened, recognizing the tattered robes of the Old World. He took a step forward, cautious but intrigued. "Where have you come from?" he asked, his voice carrying a note of surprise.
One of the figures, an elderly witch, looked around the room in awe, her voice trembling. "We... we were in the vaults, hiding from the Muggles. Everything was falling apart. We found a parchment — it spoke of a ritual. We gathered what we had, recited the spell... then there was this light, and now we're here."
Justin Russo, who had been taking notes beside Isabell, spoke up first, his voice tinged with astonishment. "Those robes... they're from our old world."
A heavy silence fell over the hall as realization dawned. Each leader exchanged glances, processing the impact of what this meant. They had left the Old World behind, assuming its magic had faded entirely. Yet here stood survivors, torn from their old lives and thrust into this new land.
Harry's gaze was steady, his mind racing with questions, but he chose his next words carefully. "You're safe now. And it seems, by some miracle or fate, that magic has brought you here. Rest assured, you will have a place among us."
The leaders remained silent, some in shock, others exchanging looks of both curiosity and concern. This was an unprecedented arrival, one that would change the course of their new world.
The meeting adjourned in a contemplative hush, each leader's mind filled with questions about the future...
