When they arrived at Taehyung's apartment, his manager was waiting for them. The moment they walked through the door, his manager greeted them with a somber expression. "It's... as bad as we expected. Her story is everywhere. She's claiming you two were together until recently, that you left her to be with Y/N. The media's eating it up."

Taehyung's jaw tightened, but he stayed calm. "This isn't true, and you know that."

His manager nodded, giving him a look of sympathy. "I know. But people love drama. Right now, her story is painting you as... well, not the good guy."

Y/N felt a pang of hurt, knowing this could damage Taehyung's reputation. "Is there anything we can do?" they asked quietly.

The manager sighed. "We can make a statement, but it'll only go so far. She has her story out there, and the more we deny it, the more people might believe her. We need to handle this carefully."

Y/N's heart sank. It felt as if they were trapped, their love story turned into a scandal. They could see how much it was hurting Taehyung, who had worked so hard to build his career, only for it to be tarnished by lies.

That evening, Taehyung and Y/N talked late into the night. They both knew they had to face this storm together, but the fear of losing everything lingered in the back of their minds.

"Are you sure you want to stay with me through this?" Taehyung asked, his voice soft but filled with vulnerability. "You didn't sign up for this kind of chaos."

Y/N looked at him, their eyes unwavering. "I love you, Taehyung. This storm won't change that."
