The interview was a success. Fans flooded social media with supportive messages, and many admired how open and genuine Taehyung and Y/N had been. For the first time since going public, they felt a sense of peace, thinking they'd finally won over the world.
But just as things started to feel normal, a series of cryptic messages began showing up in Taehyung's social media. At first, they seemed harmless—comments from a fan claiming to know him from before. But soon, the messages grew more personal, filled with details only someone from his past could know. It was as if someone was trying to remind him of who he used to be, before Y/N.
One evening, as Taehyung and Y/N relaxed at home, Taehyung's phone lit up with a new message. He glanced at it, and his relaxed smile faded. The message read: "Did you really think you could forget me that easily?"
Y/N noticed his tense expression. "Tae, is everything okay?"
He hesitated, not wanting to worry them, but he knew he couldn't hide it. He handed Y/N his phone, letting them read the message.
Y/N's face paled. "Who would send something like this?"
Taehyung sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I don't know. But whoever it is... they seem to know me, and they're not happy with me moving on."
Y/N took his hand, their grip reassuring. "Whatever this is, we'll face it together. They can't hurt us if we stay strong."
But as the days went by, the messages didn't stop. Whoever was sending them seemed determined to stir up doubt and confusion. The person even started sharing old photos and memories from Taehyung's past, as if trying to pull him back to a time before he met Y/N.
One night, a letter arrived at their doorstep, unsigned and ominous. It contained a single line: "I was here before them, and I'll be here after."
Y/N's heart raced as they looked up at Taehyung, worry etched on their face. "What do they want, Tae? Why can't they just leave us alone?"
Taehyung clenched his jaw, frustration building. "They want to scare us. To make us doubt each other. But I'm not going to let that happen."
Determined to find the person behind the messages, Taehyung contacted a trusted friend who worked in cybersecurity. Together, they traced the source of the messages, hoping to put an end to the harassment. But the deeper they dug, the more complicated the situation became. Whoever was behind this seemed to know how to cover their tracks.
Just when they thought they'd hit a dead end, Taehyung received a final message: "Meet me, and I'll tell you everything." An address followed, with a time set for the following evening.
Y/N looked at him, fear and determination in their eyes. "You're not going alone, are you?"
Taehyung shook his head, pulling them close. "No way. We're in this together, remember?"
They both knew this meeting would bring answers—whether they were ready for them or not.
