The courtroom victory was still fresh, but Taehyung and Y/N knew the battle wasn't entirely over. Jihoon's downfall had sent ripples through the industry, with his former associates and staff distancing themselves from him. Yet, his shadow still loomed, as whispers of his next move surfaced in the tabloids.

In the safety of their shared apartment, Y/N glanced at Taehyung, who was pouring over new business proposals. Despite their triumph, he looked weary.

"You haven't stopped working since the trial ended," Y/N said softly, placing a cup of tea next to him.

Taehyung gave them a faint smile. "I need to rebuild everything Jihoon tried to ruin. The company, my reputation..." His voice trailed off as he reached for the cup. "And us."

Y/N sat beside him, placing a hand on his. "We're not broken, Taehyung. We're stronger than ever. But you don't have to carry this alone."

His gaze softened, and for the first time in days, he let out a deep sigh. "You're right. I just... I hate that you got dragged into all of this. You deserve better than dealing with someone like Jihoon."

Y/N's heart clenched at his vulnerability. "I chose to stand by you, remember? That's not going to change, no matter what happens."

Before Taehyung could respond, his phone buzzed. He glanced at the screen, his expression darkening.

"It's from Minji," he said, answering the call. "What's going on?"

Minji's voice trembled on the other end. "Jihoon's not done yet. He's working with a reporter to release a fake exposé about your relationship. He wants to paint it as a publicity stunt to boost your career after the trial."

Taehyung clenched his jaw, his grip tightening on the phone. "Of course he is. Do you have proof?"

"Yes," Minji replied. "I've sent everything to your email. You need to act fast before it goes public."

After hanging up, Taehyung turned to Y/N. "It's like he's incapable of stopping. He won't rest until he drags us down again."

Y/N leaned forward, determination blazing in their eyes. "Then let's make this the last time. If he wants to play dirty, we'll show him what it means to fight back."

Together, they reviewed the evidence Minji had sent—emails, recordings, and drafts of the fabricated exposé. It was enough to not only discredit Jihoon but also the reporter involved.

The next day, Taehyung called for an urgent press conference. Standing tall in front of a sea of cameras, he spoke with unwavering confidence.

"I'm here today to address the truth," he began, his voice resonating through the room. "For months, my name and my relationship have been dragged through the mud by someone determined to ruin me. But no more."

He presented the evidence against Jihoon, exposing his manipulative schemes and his latest attempt to defame them. The room buzzed with shock as the journalists scrambled to report the breaking news.

By the time Taehyung finished, he turned to Y/N, who had stood by his side the entire time. "And for anyone doubting the authenticity of my relationship, let me be clear: I'm in love with Y/N. That's the only truth that matters."

Y/N's breath hitched, their heart swelling at his words. Though it was unexpected, they knew he meant every word.

As the cameras flashed and questions poured in, Taehyung reached for Y/N's hand. This time, there was no hesitation, no fear. Just the strength of their bond, forged through trials and unwavering loyalty.

In the crowd, Jihoon's name became synonymous with scandal, while Taehyung and Y/N stood united, their love shining brighter than ever.

But as they left the conference together, hand in hand, they couldn't help but wonder—was this truly the end of Jihoon's interference? Or was there another storm brewing on the horizon?
