The aftermath of the press conference was a whirlwind. Taehyung and Y/N found themselves inundated with messages of support and admiration. The public seemed to embrace their story, and the media frenzy surrounding Jihoon's exposure shifted the narrative in their favor.

Yet, amidst the triumph, an uneasy calm lingered.

Taehyung paced his office, his phone pressed to his ear. "Minji, are we certain there are no loose ends? Jihoon won't stop unless he's completely cornered."

Minji's voice came through, steady but cautious. "We've covered everything we could, but Jihoon is unpredictable. Just stay alert, Taehyung. He might still try to retaliate."

As the call ended, Y/N entered the room, holding two cups of coffee. "Still worried?" they asked, handing him a cup.

Taehyung took a sip and nodded. "I can't shake the feeling that Jihoon has something planned. He's not the type to give up so easily."

Y/N placed a comforting hand on his arm. "We've come this far. Whatever happens, we'll face it together."

Just as Taehyung was about to respond, his phone buzzed with a message from an unknown number. The text read:

"You think this is over? Think again. You'll never see it coming."

Taehyung's grip on the phone tightened, his jaw clenching. He showed the message to Y/N, who immediately frowned.

"This has to be Jihoon," Y/N said, their voice laced with frustration. "But what could he possibly have left to threaten us with?"

Before they could speculate further, Minji called again, her tone urgent. "Taehyung, you need to see this. There's a video circulating online—something Jihoon leaked. It's... it's not good."

Taehyung quickly opened his laptop and found the video. It was a heavily edited compilation of moments meant to make their relationship look staged—clips from the earlier days of their fake dating arrangement, spliced with voiceovers from Jihoon accusing them of lying to the public.

Y/N's face paled as they watched. "This... this makes us look like frauds again."

Taehyung exhaled sharply. "It's his last-ditch effort to discredit us. But we've come too far to let him win now."

Determined, they began drafting a response, one that would not only refute Jihoon's claims but also reaffirm the truth of their relationship. But as they worked late into the night, a question lingered between them:

What would Jihoon do next if this plan failed?

The answer, they feared, might be far more dangerous than anything they had faced before.
