The days following the public confession were a blur of media attention, fan reactions, and careful steps forward. Y/N and Taehyung had weathered the initial storm, but the aftershocks were still strong. Every day brought new challenges—rumors, scrutiny, and the strain of balancing their private life with the demands of Taehyung's career.

One afternoon, Taehyung's manager called with unexpected news. "There's been a request for an exclusive interview with you both. It's a top-rated show, and they want to get your story firsthand. It would be an opportunity to address the fans directly and calm some of the rumors."

Y/N exchanged a look with Taehyung, feeling both excitement and apprehension. An interview could help them share their side, but it would also put them in the spotlight more than ever.

Taehyung thought for a moment, then nodded. "If we do this, it has to be on our terms. I don't want Y/N feeling uncomfortable or pressured."

The manager agreed, arranging for the interview to take place in a few days. As the date approached, Y/N found themselves becoming nervous. Sitting down to discuss their relationship, their feelings, and their journey would be incredibly personal, and they didn't want to make any mistakes.

When the day of the interview arrived, they dressed carefully, choosing outfits that felt comfortable but sophisticated. Taehyung held Y/N's hand as they made their way into the studio, his thumb gently tracing circles on their palm in a gesture of reassurance.

The interviewer welcomed them with a warm smile, sensing their nervousness. "Thank you both for being here. I know this can't be easy, but we're so glad to have you."

They settled into their seats, and after a few light questions to ease the tension, the interviewer got to the heart of the matter. "Taehyung, Y/N—people are curious. After so many years of you keeping your personal life private, what made you decide to go public with your relationship?"

Taehyung glanced at Y/N, a gentle smile on his lips. "Honestly, it was because of how much Y/N means to me. I didn't want to hide or keep things secret anymore. I wanted everyone to know that they're a huge part of my life."

The interviewer then turned to Y/N. "And how has it been for you, adjusting to all the attention?"

Y/N took a breath, gathering their thoughts. "It's been... a mix of emotions, honestly. I'm grateful for the support, but it's definitely overwhelming at times. But knowing we're in this together makes it all worth it."

The interviewer nodded, clearly touched by their honesty. "It's inspiring to see such a strong bond. But has there been any moment where you doubted if this was the right choice?"

Taehyung's expression softened, his gaze fixed on Y/N. "There have been difficult moments, but I've never doubted my love for Y/N. Every challenge just reminds me of how much they mean to me. And every time things get tough, I know we'll get through it together."

The interview continued, with questions that allowed them to share their story openly and truthfully. By the end, Y/N felt a sense of relief, like a weight had been lifted. They had spoken their truth, and whatever came next, they were ready.

As they walked out of the studio hand-in-hand, Taehyung turned to Y/N with a playful smile. "How did that feel?"

Y/N laughed, feeling light and happy. "Surprisingly... good. I think we handled it well."

He grinned, pulling them close. "I couldn't have done it without you. I'm proud of us."

But as they left, neither of them noticed a pair of watchful eyes following them. Someone from Taehyung's past had seen the interview—and they weren't ready to let him go so easily.
