Suprise!

Caitlin pulled out of her up coming International break due to a hamstring injury, if she was being honest, she wasn't mad about it, arsenal had been playing her so much recently and she really needed a break. The night before Katie was set to leave for her camp both girls were sat on the couch snuggling, "I wish I was staying here with you" Katie said as she snuggled deeper into Caitlin, finding comfort and warmth in her. "I know you do kates, but you love camp and I can't wait to watch you on the tv". Caitlin said kissing her girlfriends forehead. Katie didn't reply just held Caitlin tighter. Katie was slowly starting too lose the love of playing for her national team. Being the captain Katie had to be serious all the time, and that just wasn't Katie. Katie couldn't enjoy the camps like she used to, and now with the whole Ruesha situation the whole camps vibe was completely off. Even though Katie hadn't spoken to Caitlin about this, Caitlin knew and couldn't imagine how hard it was for Katie.

As both girls got into bed, Katie snuggled deeper into Caitlin, "Cait" Katie said looking up at caitlin, "Yeh" caitlin replied now looking at katie and wrapping her arms tighter around Katie's body. "I..I hate camp" Katie said tears threatening to fall, Caitlin didn't reply just held Katie tighter, "i love captaining my team and all, it's amazing and I wouldn't want it any other way it's been my dream since I was little, it's just, camp used to be fun and enjoyable, now I feel like I can't be myself, like I'm constantly faking my smile, I don't want to go." Katie finished tucking her head into Caitlin's chest, "Kates i can't imagine how hard that must be". Was all Caitlin said as she struggled to find words for Katie, she just continued to run her fingers through Katie's hair as Katie drifted of to sleep. Caitlin couldn't sleep that night, she wanted to help Katie, but didn't know how from so far away. Which gave her the most amazing idea.

Caitlin grabbed her phone from her bedside table, making sure not to wake Katie, and texted Ella one of Katie's sisters. Caitlin was the closest to Ella as Ella was living with Katie for a little bit when the 2 first got together. "Hey Ells, I was just wondering if you would be able to pick me up from the airport tommrow" Caitlin wrote after booking her ticket to Dublin. Ella replied almost immediately, "WHATTT ofc I can, does Katie know", "no, and don't tell her" Caitlin wrote back still holding Katie in her arms, "Ahhh she is going to love it, I'm so excited" Ella wrote back after showing Lauren the text, another of Katie's sisters. Caitlin could finally go to sleep super excited to surprise Katie.

The next Katie woke up and got ready, Caitlin drove Katie to the airport, as soon as they got there and Caitlin parked Katie had tears in her eyes, "I hate this" Katie said looking at the airport in front of her, "You've got this Kates, I'm so proud of you, I Love you so much and can't wait to see you score for me tomorrow" Caitlin said rubbing Katie's thigh as both girls sat in the car, "I love you to cait, I'm going to miss you" Katie replied now getting her bags out of the car, Caitlin walked Katie to the entrance of the airport before giving her a kiss goodbye, as she watched Katie walk away she couldn't help but smile. Caitlin couldn't pack while Katie was with her without making it suspicious so she drove home quickly to pack before getting on her flight and arriving in dublin.

Lauren and Ella were waiting out the front to pick up Caitlin, when they saw her they both sprinted to her and jumped in her arms, Caitlin had to drop her bags to catch the 2 girls. Caitlin loved all of Katie's sisters like her own as with the rest of Katie's family. "Caitlin, we've all missed you so much" Ella said as Caitlin was putting both girls down and picking up her bag, "aww I've missed you guys to" Caitlin replied wrapping an arm around each girl and walking to Ella's car. Katie's game wasn't until the next night and she would have training until then, so Caitlin was staying with Katie's family until than. As the 3 girls drove to Katie's childhood home, Lauren spoke, "so why did you decide to come" she said looking at Caitlin, Caitlin didn't know what to say, she didn't want her sisters knowing Katie was having a rough time at camp, especially Lauren as she looked up to her older sister so much. "I got ruled out of my camp cause of my hamstring so thought it would be nice to come see all of you guys and surprise Katie". Caitlin said, Ella read right through it and instantly felt worried about Katie. Lauren on the other hand believed it and was just excited Caitlin was here.
