Transfer Scare...

Caitlin woke up to soft kisses being pressed around her neck, she smiled slightly as she felt her cheeks blush, "Morning" Katie spoke in her morning raspy voice, again making Caitlin smile, as she leaned further into Katie's kisses, "Morning" Caitlin replied as she kissed Katie gently back before getting up, Katie immediately following, as the two walked downstairs together, Katie grabbed one of Caitlin's hands and interlocked there fingers, Caitlin turned to her and smiled. Once they made it to the kitchen Caitlin tried to prepare some breakfast, although Katie made it very tricky, if Caitlin was over the stove, Katie was pressed up against Caitlin's body from behind with her chin rested on her shoulder, if Caitlin went to get something from the fridge, Katie who was holding onto the hem of Caitlin's shirt, would follow closely behind, Caitlin thought nothing of it at first, but when she sat down to eat her breakfast and Katie once again interlocked there fingers and sat as close as she could to her, she turned to Katie, "You okay" Caitlin asked as she tried to eat her breakfast with one hand, Katie smiled, "yeh, why" she replied unfazed, Caitlin just looked at her, slightly chuckling, "because you haven't let go of me all morning" Caitlin laughed, Katie smiled embarrassed, "Oh, sorry" she replied, Caitlin put her plate down, "No it's fine, it's cute, i like it, I just thought maybe something was wrong" Caitlin replied as she looked Katie in the eyes, "No I'm okay, just love you" Katie said as she placed a kiss on Caitlin's lips before taking her hand again and holding it tightly, Caitlin struggled to eat with one hand but didn't want to bring it up again.

The girls had an evening training later that day, the rest of the morning was spent pretty much the same way, where ever Caitlin was, Katie followed holding onto her, placing random soft kisses on her. Caitlin tried to ignore it, but as the day went on, it started to get a lot, she had no space, when she sat down on the couch, Katie did the same, sitting as close as she could get without being on top of her, she never had two free hands as one was always wrapped tightly in Katie's, she loved Katie, but this was to much. On the way to training, Caitlin drove as Katie held her hand tightly rubbing her thumb over Caitlin's knuckles, Caitlin hoped that when they got to training, Katie would stop with the team around. Although she was very wrong, as soon as Caitlin got out of the car Katie's hand grabbed hers and her head rested against Caitlin's shoulder. Caitlin let out a deep sigh as she turned to face Katie, "Are you sure your okay" Caitlin asked again her teeth gritting as she fought back her anger, Katie just smiled unaware of the storm inside of Caitlin, "Yeh all good" Katie replied as she continued to walk inside, although Caitlin didn't, meaning Katie stopped as well, Caitlin pushed Katie's hand off of hers, Katie just looked at her confused, "Why are you so clingy today" Caitlin asked sternly, "Because I love you, and I want you to know that" Katie said as she moved closer to Caitlin and went to grab her hand again, "I do know that" Caitlin mumbled angrily as she moved away again, Katie finally stopped, "You told me you liked it" she spoke quietly, Caitlin now let every single built up emotion she had holding in out, "I said that to be nice, all day you've done nothing but over crowd me and annoy the absolute fuck out of me, leave me alone, let me breath for fucks sake" Caitlin yelled without thinking, she regretted it as soon as she said it, she watched as Katie's smile faded her her head looked down, "Why didn't you just tell me to stop, I would've" Katie asked quietly, Caitlin didn't know what to say, she felt terrible, "Cause I didn't want to hurt your feelings" Caitlin replied quietly, Katie scoffed, before turning and walking inside, Caitlin stayed back, giving herself a minute before following Katie inside. Katie was sat in her cubby putting on her boots, as Caitlin walked in Viv approached her, "Whats wrong with Katie, she was crying when she came in...like in front of everyone she wasn't even trying to hide it" viv spoke quietly, worried as she knows how much Katie hides her emotions from people, this also shocked Caitlin, she can't remember the last time she saw Katie cry in front of the team, Caitlin sighed, "Me" she said quietly as she walked away from Viv and over to Katie, she sat beside her placing a comforting hand on Katie's thigh, the team watched as tough Katie McCabe silently cried, they all stood around worried. "Look I know your mad at me, and I'm sorry, I'm sorry I yelled, I should've told you earlier, but something bigger is obviously going on for you to be this upset, talk to me Kates" Caitlin spoke quietly so the others couldn't hear, Katie just looked down as she tried to stop her tears, "Come with me Kates" Caitlin said as she held out her hand, she looked around the room at all the worried faces, Katie just shook her head, "I'm leaving you alone, letting you breathe like you asked, go away" Katie replied weakily although loud enough for all the team to hear, Caitlin felt horrible as she sat back down, "Katie come on, I didn't mean it like that" Caitlin pleaded, Katie lifted up her head for the first time since coming into the change rooms, all eyes were on her, she stood up instantly and walked out of the room embarrassed, Caitlin stood up to follow her, but was stopped by Viv, "let me talk to her first yeh" Viv said as she turned Caitlin back around, as Caitlin sat down Beth and Steph sat beside her, "What did you say to her" Beth asked as she had never seen Katie this vulnerable, "She was on top of me all day, holding my hand, kissing me, grabbing me, I couldn't breathe, and I yelled at her" Caitlin said quietly, "That's all, why was she crying so much" Steph asked confused, Caitlin shook her head, "I don't know, I kept asking her if she was okay, she's never normally clingy unless shes upset, but this was like way worse than ever before, I couldn't even eat breakfast this morning because she was all over me" Caitlin said again as she looked down, Beth brought Caitlin into a hug, "She'll talk to you soon, just give her time" Beth said into Caitlin's ear.
