Stephen had finally left for England.

Unfortunately, it made you very sad but Light was always there for you.

Light was currently in a meeting with the taskforce. They were analysing the little 'notes' leftover by some criminals before they died in the hands of Kira.

L believes that those 'notes' are experiments that Kira conducted.

It was very dull in the taskforce. Light hated it. He'd much rather be with his love interest but he was here, stuck with a bunch of good for nothing detectives who couldn't even catch Kira when he was right with them.

Light pitied them but not L. He knew that L knew but had no evidence to support his theory so he could not officially arrest Light no matter how much he wanted to.

Suddenly watari came in and stood next to L as he spoke.

"She's here"

L nodded and spoke.

"Send her in"

Watari nodded and walked away while everyone looked at L curiously.

"Who's here Ryuzaki?" Matsuda asked as L took a bite of his cake.

"Watari found an excellent private agent, well she's still in training however her skills are quite magnificent..."

"I believe she'd be a great help to us, besides not many people are willing to lose their lives because of Kira, therefore her willingness to lose her life shows great bravery and I respect her deeply for that" L finished as he ate the strawberry on his cake.

Light did not care even the slightest. All he wanted was to see his goddess.

Soon enough they heard heels clicking through the hallway.

Matsuda looked towards the door in anticipation, he didn't even see the woman yet and he was already enticed by her footsteps.

Light and L were the only ones unbothered. L continued eating his cake while Light just reviewed some papers. Soichiro Yagami helped his son with some paperwork.

The doors opened as a beautiful girl stepped in, she wore a black overcoat and black leggings with black boots. Her hair was let down and her face was covered by a doll mask.

Watari stepped in right after the girl.

"Welcome agent, please introduce yourself" L said in a monotone voice as he turned to face the girl.

Everyone else also turned to face the girl.

"You may take off your mask" watari said as the girl did as she was told.

Light and Soichiro Yagami looked at the girl in shock after she took off her mask.

"Hello, I'm (Y/n) Gevanni"

Light just stared at her.

"Call me Ryuzaki, I believe we have met before" L said as he took a sip of his tea.

"Yes" you said simply as you bowed to L.

"I'm Soichiro Yagami" Light's father said as you smiled at him while still being professional.

"I'm Touta Matsuda!"

"Aizawa"

"Mogi"

"Ide"

Now the only person left was Light who just looked at his goddess with a hint of betrayal.

Light just gave you a cold glare as he turned away.

That hurt you a lot. It wouldn't have hurt so much if it was someone else but since it was Light, someone you deeply loved and respected, it hurt like someone just stabbed you and kept pushing the knife in, deeper and deeper.

You didn't know what to do, technically you were at a workplace. You wanted to talk to Light however at the same time you wanted to be professional, surely you couldn't do both at the same time.

"Uh Light-kun, you didn't introduce yourself to our new colleague" Matsuda said gently, he thought Light forgot about it.

"She doesn't need an introduction from me" Light said coldly as he swiped through the papers a little aggressively.

"Light-kun, I understand that you're upset but that's no reason to ruin our reports like that" L said in his usual monotone voice which seemed ten times more annoying to Light at that moment.

He looked at L carefully. L had a very slight smirk on his face as he met Light's gaze.

Light just gritted his teeth.
