It was a regular day, Light was walking to his house along with you since you needed some help with your school work.

He opened the front door and entered his house followed by you. After taking off your shoes, you both made your way to Light's room.

As Light touched his room handle, he seemed to shift slightly, you could swear his face twitched a little.

𝘐 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘮𝘺 𝘥𝘰𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘣 𝘢𝘵 𝘢 𝘤𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘭𝘦 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘪𝘵'𝘴 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵.

Light opened the door and noticed that the pencil he had placed in between his door was gone, the piece of paper was still there. He shoved the piece of paper away from your sight so that you won't get the wrong idea about why Light takes so much precaution to keep his room private.

Light had to ask Ryuk for help, but he couldn't do that with you around.

The boy excused himself as he went outside and told Ryuk to inform him if his house is wiretapped or not.

"And what's in it for me?" Ryuk asked in his hoarse voice.

"Apples"

"50?"

"Deal"

Light went back inside his house and into his room where he saw you sitting on his bed with your books, waiting for him.

"Sorry, did I make you wait too long?" Light asked you softly to which you responded with a bright smile and shook your head.

𝘞𝘩𝘺 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘰 𝘢𝘥𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦?

Light sat next to you on the bed as he took your books and started showing you how to solve a specific problem.

Suddenly Ryuk arrived and told Light that there are in fact cameras in his whole house, over 64 in his room alone.

Light stopped writing for a moment as he was taken aback. You noticed and looked towards Light as he quickly started writing again.

Some time passed as you both kept studying when suddenly Light spoke.

"(Y/n) you want some snacks?"

"Sure~"

Light smiled as he got up to bring potato chips and returned shortly after.

𝙈𝙚𝙖𝙣𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙚

L and Soichiro Yagami, Light's father, were watching the couple from the cameras.

"Maybe this is why he takes precautions to hide his room?" L mumbled to himself as he placed his thumb on his lips.

"What do you mean Ryuzaki?" Soichiro Yagami inquired while being a bit offended.

"Teenagers do all sort of 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 at this age and Light seems to be very interested in miss (L/n)"

Soichiro Yagami couldn't protest much because he knew it was true.

The way Light's eyes would sparkle whenever they would talk about (Y/n), the way he looked at her right now.

Soichiro Yagami just wished that the teenagers won't do what L is predicting they would.

𝙇𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩'𝙨 𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙢

Light was eating potato chips, writing equations and eyeing you every now and then. It was then he realized how close you both were sitting with your knees touching.

Light's face and ears got visibly red as he looked away from you. He started feeling hot so he unbuttoned a little bit of his shirt to allow air to enter his now heated body.

You noticed this and thought that Light was feeling unwell.

"What's wrong Light?" You asked softly as you placed your hand on his shoulder.

Light slowly turned towards you and stared into your eyes deeply.

The urge to kiss you was washing over him. Before he could do anything, he heard his little sister Sayu yell.

"We're home!!!!"

Light quickly turned away from you as he got up from the bed and cleared his throat.

"Ah seems like Sayu and Mrs Yagami are back.." You said as you smiled at Light and got up from the bed as well.

"I should get going then... It's pretty late.." You said to Light who just kept staring at you from a distant, his face still red as ever.

"U-um.. I'll drop you.." Light mumbled.

You walked over to Light and placed the back of your palm on his forehead which Light quickly held with his own hand.

"Light you seem unwell... It's alright, I can go home on my own"

"No. I'll drop you off" Light said determined as he regained his composure and put on his jacket as you did the same and opened the door to his room only to have Sayu fall into your arms.

"Sayu were you eavesdropping on us?" Light asked his little sister with playful anger.

"....hehe, just checking if you and anee were studying some 𝘥𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵 kind of education" the younger girl said as she playfully winked at them both and ran away.

𝘐 𝘸𝘪𝘴𝘩. 𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘺 𝘮𝘺 𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘴𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳, 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘮𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘭𝘬 𝘪𝘯 𝘰𝘯 𝘶𝘴 𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘦𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯.

Your face became bright red as you realized what Sayu meant.

"SAYU!" Light called out to his sister who just ran away.

"I apologize for her behavior" Light said softly.

"No no, it's alright.."

You both just awkwardly went downstairs. You bid your goodbyes to Mrs Yagami and Sayu as you made your way to your house along with Light.

"Such a sweet girl" Mrs Yagami said to her daughter in reference to you.

"They look so good together, I hope Oni-chan marries her~~~" Sayu replied as she giggled.
