"Something you need to be aware of is that Light is our prime suspect for being Kira" L said nonchalantly while you just froze.

"Ryuzaki!-" Light yelled but he was abruptly cut off by L.

"What? She's part of the taskforce now, she needs to know these things"

".... I.. Understand" you said slowly.

"May I ask why.. Light is a suspect?" You asked curiously.

The truth is, you didn't want to believe that Light could be Kira.

"Light fits the profile for Kira perfectly, although I'm not sure..." L stopped as he chewed on his strawberry.

"There is a good 10% chance that Light is Kira... The FBI agents who I entrusted to tail and watch the suspects were killed off.. The Yagami family was among the suspects.." L continued.

"Light however stood out to me the most, he is suspiciously aware of his surroundings, a little too perfect if you might ask me" L finishes as he smiles at you.

You nodded in understanding.

"Infact, miss Gevanni, I even had you under surveillance for a while" L revealed nonchalantly like it was no big deal.

You were just shocked, you had absolutely no idea. You did some questionable things and you really hoped that L didn't see those things.

"Don't worry though, you're clear" L said as he smiled at you.

Your cheeks flushed red as you nodded.

Light noticed this ofcourse, he hated the fact that you were blushing for another man.

Light just cleared his throat to try to get your attention. He succeeded.

You turned towards Light and walked over to him as he put up his fake facade of being upset. He stopped being upset a while ago, he couldn't be upset with his goddess for too long.

"Light.. Can we talk?" You asked him softly to which he nodded and walked away out of the room.

You were a bit confused, Light noticed that you weren't following him so he turned around and looked at you.

You got the memo and followed him out of the room while L just watched the couple with an uninterested look.

"Tsk tsk"

"I'm sorry" you said lowly to Light who was towering above you due to his height.

It instantly melt his heart.

"It's alright I understand, when did you start the training?" Light asked gently now, his fake anger seeming to fade away.

"A few days after you joined the taskforce" you answered.

"I see" Light said as he smiled at you softly.

Light engulfed his love interest in his arms as he gently caressed her back.

Light spoke as he caressed his love interest in a gentle and soothing manner.

"Don't hide anything from me ever again, alright?" Light whispered into your ears.

It was like Light hypnotized his goddess as she nodded in his embrace and mumbled a small "yes".

Light's thoughts were interrupted by his love interest pulling out of the hug.

"We have to get back to work" the girl said as she left for the main room where all the taskforce members were working.

Light looked in the direction in which his goddess went.
